Auto flower help

When do you guys think I should turn my dimmer up to 100%? The website suggest 100% when the plants start flowering. Mars hydro Fc-E6500. They are about 23 days out of the ground

What do you have it at now? You don't want to go from zero - 100. Need to do it slowly. But if you are already close to 100% just go 100. Just watch the plants. Watch your temps.

I wouldn't worry about the number your dimmer says. As long as your lighting intensity in high enough, your DLI is around 40 and your temps are fine it's irrelevant what the dimmer says.

Have you got any way of checking the ppfd under your light? For example I rent an apogee from a local hydro store when I need to check.

Yeah, check your DLI. One of the reasons to go way brighter in flower is that most people are using photoperiod plants and at flower they're doing 12/12, while autos are remaining usually at 18/6.

Since your day remains just as long as ever, you're not trying to cram more light into them as someone who just lost 6 hours of light needs to do.

Photo growers need the extra light so their DLI stays in the same range.
