Auto Northern Lights (00 Seeds)

hi.

So this is my first attempt at growing an auto. I started 3 seeds and only ended up with one viable plant. I started it in soil outside about the end of April. It sat there for about 3 weeks while the weather here went from warm to chilly and basically did not grow at all past its first set of true leaves. So I decided to take it in to my hydro unit. I'm 3 weeks later and man what a difference. I see no flowers or preflowers yet and am a bit nervous but as already suggested in a different thread - I can't count that time outside as it didn't grow or mature. I'm hoping to start seeing it flower pretty soon. I'll add some pics of it in a moment.
Any one have advice?

So I found out what happens when your grow area is too hot. The poor plant!! It was/is about 3 weeks into its flower cycle and was looking fantastic - tops all over it. We had a heat wave here in my area the last few weeks and I didn't have a cooling method in my grow area. My vegging plants are fine, my budding plant not so much. I pulled it out of the grow area and have it under LEDs in another area that is temp controlled but I think the damage is done. I'll keep trying to get her back, she's still mostly green, and less wilty than last night - but this has to kill any chance of a good harvest? Anyone know what happens to a heat stressed budding plant? Do they come back and give a decent harvest? Bummer. But I have gotten an AC for my area....

I also experienced a heat wave during my grow -see my sig.
The plant growth seemed to stagnate ,and I needed to water it more due to faster evaporation.Buds turned out a bit leafy ,but that may also be due to not so optimal light.

I think mine is further gone than that. It is wilted and while still green, it's been a full day out of the hot area and it is barely even trying to regain turgir pressure and stand back up. I'm not willing to cut it down yet, I want to see if it survives. But I started a new seed just in case.

Here's pics. My thought is to cut off the growth at the back that is very dead. The top growth and that in the front looks like it is trying to come back. Getting rid of the dead will probably help be rest. Again any thoughts?
