AUTOFLOWER Any good?

hey guys, i had ordered a bunch of femminised seeds... but they were going to take about a week to arrive...
so at my local shop i purchased some autoflower seeds.

AUTO FLOWER SEED NAMES
-Autoflower AK47
-Northern lights
-Auto mazar
-Pure power plant

NORMAL FEMINISED SEEDS
-Amnesia Haze
-Royal Moby
-Critical
-shining silver haze

seing that i have a 600w hps, would i get the same yield as planting some normal feminised seeds?
Because i already put them in water and some people mentioned that autoflower plants arent as good...
Please help

I've done a few auto runs ( auto purple, auto sweet tooth first time/then auto girl scout cookies, auto LSD-25, and auto blackberry the second time) and I have to say that the container size will effect the yield, but the product is solid and with 600 you should be golden some autos can be small genetically but a lot are similar in stature to a photo period.

If I may inquire, are the autos fem or reg?
Also how big is your garden?

I did 6 autos in a 1metrex1metre under a 600w and I struggled for space. I would've been good with 3, then maybe another 3 started 3 weeks before the end of the first.

You should yield nicely if you followed the Kiss/lucas method in coco or rockwool.

alright, i was thinking, seeing that auto Flower plants grow with basically any condition (its always sunny here) il keep them outside (-Auto mazar-Pure power plant and -Autoflower AK47) so that my only worry with them would be watering and the fucking THRIPS!!! i hate those insects, i squish them with joy xD

and Amnesia Haze,Royal Moby,Critical,shining silver haze(the normal feminised seeds) -Northern lights (from the autoflower family) il keep under the 600w hps... seeing that those plants need more care and all, i hope this works out man... (il feed these plants nutes and not the feminised one as i heard they are more sensitive to nutes and i dont want to hurt them)

my project was planned for 2 plants at first xD now i have 8 xD FML.

-all my seeds are feminised, and il kiss them good night every night before going to bed xD
-my indoor grow area is 4x4 foot wide instead outside is just my garden.

guys PLEASE let me know if you think i have done anything wrong with my planning, i see many of you have years of growing background

hOw much your yield was?
And my grow are xan be expanded so thats not a prpblem

My conditions weren't ideal (moved from a tent to a 4x4 space, to a much larger space) but even so from 1gal containers I got 2-4 oz give or take and with 7gal containers 4-8.
But that was during constant change in environment and lighting so in a more stabld zeroed in setting you could get a better yield that I have no doubt. I used midweek song freebies and fast buds for my strains btw.

How long do u plan on vegging..?generally the autos will be smaller than the photo's ..but...imo your biggest prob will be keeping all ur plants in flower at the same time (harvest time)depending on how long u veg for the autos will dictate when u flower and harvest time will be......look for the nodes to start staggering this will tell u they r close to the start of flower (autos)when this happens throw the photos into flower and u should be harvesting at the same time......

You don't need to flower your photos just because your auto starts to flower, it'll be fine under veg timed lights until the photos are ready, I say because it will relieve unnecessary stress not on the plants but on yourself.

do you guys reckon i could pull out about 400grams or more or less? i mean if i can pull out that much out of one harvest and its quicker than photos, i might just do my first farm with auto

I Concur with taco.....total harvest will depend on several things (as quoted above).....but....400g imo is not realistic for an auto.......if u grow the strains u quoted with 4 plants in total i reckon u will average 2-3 oz per plant......taco in my previous post I was explaining how if he wants to harvest at the same time then the autos will determine when to flower the photos.......most strains including autos r 8-9 week flower so it makes sence to flower the photos when the autos start to flower..?..

I agree entirely, I've noticed the larger the pot the more the yield with autos (nutes & lights permitting) but if you are gonna grow in orchard pots your gonna need space because auto or photos in bigger pots you often get trees damn near that will definitely need topping or training if you want anything resembling a even canopy.

Here in mass it's legal but there isn't a whole lot of acess to clones or legal bud sales so autos are a good choice, plus with companies like fastbuds and others autos have come a long way from being too inferior to photos like it was in the old days. Have you tried the auto OGs or GSC, gorilla glue, etc? They're not half bad.

Just ran a group of autos in my veg tent with some photo strains, did fast buds gsc ×2 and an advance auto biodiesle, the only problem i ran into was the photo plants were ready to flower out way before the autos were finished. Ended up cutting and topping and cloning the photos for much longer than i intended to. My advice is to start the photos a month to a month and a half later than the autos if you are using the same area for both. Ime you could do better with photo period plants running 12/12 from seed indoors using less electricity than autos and getting more product in return, just my experience, im sure others will say different, but i think autos are for outdoor runs in shorter grow season areas.

I grew fastbuds gorilla glue and green crack, and have run GG4 from clone , to me they weren't similar at all, and the flavors were vastly different. I got a grow log in the auto's section if you are interested.

I gotta check that out, seems awesome.
I tried to run a fast buds green crack fem but it died due to an error on my part, how does it stack up to the photo version?


I haven't had the pleasure of running some legit photo gorilla glue yet.
