Autoflower Question

Sorry if this is already out there, but I can't seem to find it.....

When growing an autoflower (Short Rider) in Bubbleponics, when is the best time to change from Grow to Bloom nutrients? Do you switch at the first sign of flowering, at the time you expect flowering, or wait for awhile?

Also, is there any reason to not light 24/0 with an autoflower when it starts to bloom? Would there be any advantage to give darkness to the plant?

i have always heard and i believe some of the breeders say this as well taht you should use 20/4 when growing autos.... not sure exactly why and i suppose you could do 24/0 but i usually go with what the breeders say is best. i would also start the bloom nutes when the preflowers start to show sex. usually the autos flower pretty fast so you should get em in there while you can! start slow though to test its tolerance.... im not real sure how autos handle nutes as ive only grown one.

I've grown autos 3 times and used the same nute schedule I would with photoperiod plants except defining week one of bloom to start when I see first flowering. I used 24/7 light throughout, but changed it to more red spectrum when flowering began. I've never seen any reason to deprive them of any hours of light. Also, my experience (and I think this is common) was that the seed to harvest estimates you see are very optimistic. Count on 1-2 weeks longer.

I am loving the roadrunner. I am lettin gthis one go in a ifve gallon dwc and she is kicking ass, wating the soil one. The smell is incredible, as a customer I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the free seeds. THe smell is ubeleivable and after a week cure the smell is even more rigtheous. Like fruit.
