makings seeds.... im trying to figure out if im already to late to get the pollen from my males and pollenate a single female bud... all 6 plants are in the same room pretty much touching each other.. the fan is blowing the air from the females to the males... some of the seed pods just opened up over the last day or two but most of them are closed... what should i do? chop the males down this instant or procede to try to collect pollen (which i am researching and dont know nothing about)

another fast way to dry a bud is by putting it in a paper envelope. The paper envelope seems to pull moisture out of the bud at an excellerated rate but not real fast usually about two days and exposes bud to no heat stress.

kushy, slow down with the molasses bro. probably shouldnt put anything incluing fertilizers on them for around 15-20 days and then veg nutes for a bit then flowering and molasses for a couple more weeks then just water. i dont know if molasses would hurt them at a young age, but i dont really think it would help them at all.

Hey guys, been a while but Im still alive! haha! Work has been crazy as usual, plus my wife is pregnant and were in the process of moving so my free time has been little to none.

I finally finished my 8 plant Diesel Ryder SOG grow I had going so i figured i would drop by with some pics. I had them growing in a gutted mini fridge under a single 150w HPS from seed. I harvested 2 at 8 weeks, 2 more at 8.5 weeks and the last 4 right at 9 weeks. Here are a few pictures.

My only regret was keeping the plants too close (3-4 inches) to the bulb, which caused some burning on all the top buds making them rather crispy at the tips. This also caused some odd purple discoloration usually not seen in Diesel Ryders from what Ive read and seen. I think it was mainly heat stress but still looked pretty cool. you can see some of the discoloration in the tips of all the top buds and in the picture above of the top view of the uncut plant.

Total Dry Weight = 130.2g (4.65oz)!!!
Grams Per Watt = 0.868

Peace

watering question.. i usually do hydro so i dont know much about dirt... I got some foxfarm oceanic forest and I watered with pure rain water for the first 3 weeks... a few days ago i watered with 1000 PPM foxfarm nutrient enriched rain water and now im wondering if the next watering needs to be pure rain water or the same nutrient enriched water

ok, i wont givum lasses till 3 weeks. thanks how much per gallon
Like Pabloesqobar said, 1 tbsp is the standard. I wouldn't start at week 3, I'd wait until week 3.5-4. I've heard of 2 tbsp per gallon too. Up to twice a week. Make sure to switch to just water at least a week before you harvest. When you flush, you can still add the lasses

Most people would recommend adding nutes every other watering, with plain water in between.

Anyways, KB, Reiss, and everyone else on this thread, great looking plants. I just finished reading all 88 pages of this shit, some great info. Everyone come check out my 1000 watt auto grow (url in my sig). Its on day 18~
