hello all , below are pics of my autoflower at week 8+ .
thing is the 1st one doesnt look ready yet , 80% white hairs and hasnt fatted up as much but the trichs are mostly milky/cloudy .

the 2nd one looks alot more advanced 80% amber hairs and fat but trichs are 95% clear

over last 2 days they have both had a bit of a growth burst but the leaf and calyx seem different shape and pattern

any advice please
I say it's because of different phenotypes bro.

My auto's weren't ready at the same time either. Kinda weird that your 1st one's trichs are cloudy but the buds aren't swollen. 'Not saying anything's wrong with it-just the phenoptype. In fact, those look fucking awesome dude!!! What seed/seedbank?

Either way, I say you have some time left, but it's a matter of your preference when to yank. 'Tried any samples yet?

Hey all, here are the ladies 12 days after I removed that bad, bad man from the bunch (bad in my case & desires of course).

Anway, take a peak & lemme know what yall think. Did I maybe dodge the bullet.

KB break of some wisdom.

BTW, sorry for the faux pas in askin bout reg. photo period beans in ur auto thread. Just got carried away on a late night rant.

holla back, nimbin, chime in too, been searchin everywhere & cannot find anything like a bean. Just tons of swelled up calyxes.

Thanks guys!

showhard2handle - Well its really hard to say by those pics. The best way to see if seeds are forming is to look at the underside of the buds and look for unusually large calyxes. Eventually those calyxes will start to split open and you will see a light green seed inside. Its not until the seed turns light to dark brown that they are ready.

At this point it may be hard to distinguish between swollen calyxes and impregnated ones. I would wait another week then snap a closeup shot of the underside of a few buds. You could go ahead and do so now, but like I said it may be too early to tell for sure.

Also, that tall leggy bitch on the right side is going to get out of control. I would highly recommend leaning her over towards the middle to even out the canopy. The longer you wait the more impossible she will be to train. the stalk is still thin enough now that over a week or so you should be able to get her to lean over nicely by tying her down little by little. You dont have to, but I am willing to bet you would get more bud off her if you did, just dont do any pruning, only LST.

Peace

Thanks for the insightful advice my brother. I'll start some LST on that one. If ya can believe that was a free bean that came with em. She's been the top dog from the jump.

Anyway, thanks again bro, i'll slap up some close ups in another week.

what sort of auto's will u be buying ? some are alot bigger then others , i would say for 2-3 atleast 100watt's but i would go 200 watts , i would get a mixed ratio of 6500k and 2700k colour

Don't know if you 'can' or not, but I am. No choice. Either that or flowers are going to be all over my lights, which is NOT a good thing! They don't seem to be too upset over it.

Sure you can LST autoflowers. Most dont need it but everynow and then you get that phenotype that is a tall lanky bitch. Here is a Diesel Ryder I had to train. i waited a bit to long before starting to tie her down, but it still worked out in the end.

Good luck Mel!!!
