when do i introduce pollen to my plants to make seed?
I just let the male grow out, collected some let it dry for a few days then shook it all over the rest to seed it, Id say at least 2-3 weeks into flower. And as for how long the seeds actually take to produce, Im not sure, I havent harvested any yet. Here is a few pics of the diesel.031.JPG

Sorry for the crappy pics, I will do better resizing next time, and the really crappy ones I tried to mess with the brightness but that was a fail. I will get some better pics in the near future, without the ufos on. And try to give a count on my seed harvest, as best I can, of course I will find more as I pick through the buds once they cure, Im still going to smoke whatever is there that isnt seed, just to try it out. I count at least 10 on a single branch on one of the autos. So one branch will replace the ten pack I originally bought, plus. With a 50/50 male to female ratio, I shouldnt ever run out of these things. I plan on making even more outdoors, a few patches to smoke, a few for seeds. Not a bad investment. Especially considering the turnover on these things, so fast from seed to harvest.

ive all ready harvested my auto male pollen, for my auto grow, im doing. And harvested some white widow pollen today, from my W.W. grow, im going to pollinate one of my W.W. clones and get some seed. from that grow two.presently my 2nd white widow clone grow is in 4 week of flower. thats why i was asking, not sure when to give it to her. right now i have 4 strains of autos going and it looks like to of them got pollinated. so ill have seed from them. the males were afgan kush autos. those autos are the biggest autos plants iv ever seen. They out grew my auto area that i built. all other autos have been small in height. but not those afgans. this is my pollen, and afgan fush autos, then my other autos.

here is an experiment with some friends. The big one is 7 weeks old and the other one is about a week behind. They have been on 24/0 cycle from the start. They will be getting a 4 hour nap starting tonight untill they finish. Id say another 3 weeks. Just started a very light flowering nute last week for a little extra boost. The larger one at about week 5 just started taking off so we are expecting the other to boom sometime soon. Also a little tomato plant in there for some company that really seems to like the 24/0 cycle. Have had it for a week now from a nursery and has grown about 2 1/2".

*edit the lady at the seed bank says they are called Earlywonder Skunk. Cant find much info about em online if anyone knows.

As soon as the male flowers open. Since there auto's and only live for around 60 days, you need to pollinate as soon as possible. It takes at least 3 weeks and 5 days to get mature seeds. Good luck Cutman and let me know how thet turned out.

autoflowering white widow???
what is the name of that? is it snowryder?

i harvested from 3 AF males all were afgan kush males, and use that polen on a blue berry, blue hymalayen, and a low rider 2. and looks like i got some good seed. all AF of cource, and am looking forward to growing these seeds on the next run. just to see what happens. I also use some of the pollen on a regular lemon skunk, just to see what happens, you can read all day about the dos and donts but untill you get your hands wet, all the info you take in is just that, nothing else. trile and error is how i learn the best. So we will see as the month go by this year. This was not my first grow, but my first seed run. it should be fun to see what happens though.
i just sprouted six feminized white widow autoflowering.

Like I said, just let the males mature themselves, they will open and pollinate your plants, thats what I did and it worked fine, also cut some off, let it dry then put it all over the plants, its covered. Most autos show around day twenty, give or take a few days. It will take about 3 weeks for the pollen to grow and open up, so around week 3 they will get pollinated and from there do their own thing and produce the seeds. Hopefully I will be harvesting some seeds here soon, a lot of them are fat and look like they could burst any second, I want to wait until they actually push through the calyx, and are showing, that way I know they are fully mature.

I've never heard of a true White Widow autoflower. Does anybody have a link to a seedbank that has them? There's plenty of crosses with the word "white" in them, but I don't think those are true WW. If they're out there, I'm getting some. :)

I have tried Smurfberry Autoflower strain and it did not turn out to be an autoflowering plant. I have read this a couple other places and had it happen to me as well. The plants look great but not what I wanted.

hey thanks for that useful info!! BUT, is that 3 wks from sprout or 3wks from showing themselves? I think you ment 3wks from showing themselves though..so in essence, that means at 5wks the pollen is POPIN!.:bigjoint:

I just immersed my Attitude's AK-47 Auto into damp starter soil. :) I'm lovin' this auto thing. In three months, I'll have quality bud. No more waiting until November crap. Summer's comin' and I want to par-TAY!

Also, I must say that Attitude rocks.....6 day delivery, great stealth shipping, and the beans are dark and swollen. Even the freebies. I got Dinafem's UFO and some other fem grapefruit.

'Can't wait until my auto AK's poke their cute little heads out of the soil! :leaf:

Yeah 3 weeks of flower, not 3 weeks from sprouting. Sorry for the confusion. I said 2-3 didnt I? I think they might have gotten hit in that range, so anywhere in there would probably be good, and as more calyxes form, hit them too, up until you think you can hit it, and you can let the plant live long enough to harvest them. You dont want to just keep hitting it, it will be developing seeds that will never get done if you do. I did take the male out at a point, once everything else in the room started to flower, so they didnt get too heavily pollinated as well, so I might get some diesel ryder x the following, white rhino, white widow, super lemon haze, and church. Interesting to see what might come from them in the future.
