So I got these seeds from http://www.drchronic.com/main.asp
THey are Feminised Autoflowering Afgan Kush Ryder.

I just planted one to see how it went. a few weeks into the grow the plant pot fell over and crushed the plant.
you can see in the first pic how far along it made it. It broke right at the bottom in 1/2 and 99% of the plant dried up and died off. But I was left with a little stump with 3 little leaves growing from it still. that is the second pic. Its now been 4 weeks after the second pic and the plant has exploded into a bush, last pic few pics. But as I said its been 4 weeks and the plant still has yet to flower. There are no little white hairs coming from any place yet. I am using 200 Watt CFL on the one light.
Also the stock of the plant has red stripes going up and down... 4th pic

Anyone know what the hell is going on here?

i dont know a lot about auto flowering plants... so i dont know if they follow the same tendencys as non-auto flowers... but... it could be this... when your plant got smashed and broke it got stressed... stressing can lead to longer veg and/or flowering times... so my best guess would be just that... from the stress it incurred from being smashed and broken its just a little slugish in overall growth and that itll be fine.. just be a little more patient than normal.. i would also say if it doesnt flower in the next couple weeks then you should start to worry... you can always change the light cycle to 12/12... im not sure if you can induce auto flowers to flower like that... but... its an idea...

I agree with sampson. And the red veining can be strain specific. or the beginning of a potassium def. But I think its just genetics, the plant looks healthy.

well lets see what happens. I added a 250Watt 2700K CFL to the 200Watt 6500K CFL today. I have been told the 2700K is for blooming, so this may help, if not then lights are going to be switched to 12/12, currently 18/6

yeah the 2700k bulb will help... its the red spectrum, which is mimics the falls harvest light spectrum... you should try to make most of the spectrum that red/orange color during flowering... an idea if you have the funds would be to purchase a HPS security light... its a cheap way to get a good flowering light... good luck hope all turns out well!!!

I have changed out the 6400K from the balast and put in the 2700K but I have started another plant and have the 6400K beside the plant so it is still getting some of the light from the 6400K

With autoflowering it doesnt matter what light u use, it grows under any light with the proper spectrum, and about the time, you should keep it 20/4, that works for me, i have 10 growing and am in week 4 and its just so full of buds, thats the perfect timing, and i would recomend to get a 200 watt hps for those 2 plants and is more than enough and you will see good results, well is my opinion after growing for the past 10 years.and dont go crazy on the nutes cos it will burn your roots . Happy growing.
