looking into auto flower seeds. do you treat them as normal seeds in regards to the lighting schedule? 18/4 for veg and 12/12 for flower? what is recommended?

Thanks, Ive always used clones.

Great thanks.. you really dont have to worry about adjusting the light times per cycle?
i have grown many autos over the past year.. I leave mine on 18/6 mainly for my light bill. I have also left them on for 24 hours from start to harvest and i pretty much get the same results with 18/6.

any questions ask away. love to help.

^^ i would love if someone would do comparisons to determine at what point additional light benefit is diminished. As in 12/12 is generally considered low yield, where as 20/4 and 18/6 are similar. To answer the question we need somewhere around 5 plants all with the same medium, same light, same temps, and close as possible pheno. each light would be different on/off. It would be great to find the perfect middle ground for these things.

So that is the timing, but should one change the lighting strength. For example I have a PC box and it has both light spectrums. Should I change the light spectrum while keeping the time solid?
