Simple question I can't seem to find the answer to... I started germing a Sweet Seeds Fast Buds (auto) seed today. I plan on doing 12/12 from seed, but dont know what kelvin temp to use, 2700k or 6500k?

Dont do 12/12 from seed on an auto, 12/12 light cycle is only needed on photo-period strains and it is used to trigger then to go into flowering mode. Auto flowers dont need a change in light cycle to prompt flowering and therefore you can leave the lights on for longer, most people use 18/6 or 20/4 but 24/0 has been used too, although I dont think it improves yield much over 20/4 cycle.

Nordic division is right, 6500k is for veg (in an auto it is the first 3-4 weeks of growth, untill it shows signs of sex), Then you want to swap for 2700k for flowering period.

I've an auto under cfls right now. You can use both temps of bulb, mine has been flowering for a little less than a week, currently under 3x68w 2700k, 3x24w 2700k, 1x24w 3000k, 2x42w 6700k. For the first couple weeks she was under 6700k with a few 2700k sprinkled in the mix. I've heard to use a 4 to 1 ratio of bulbs with the proper spectrum for the cycle you are in (veg/flower)

I use 12-23 watt 6500 veg cfls through the whole grow, my Lowryder#2 Im gonna chop soon is about 14 inches tall and very thick and dense. I keep the lights on 24/0 But most pro auto growers will say with cfls they like the veg ones better, and some mix them, but theres no need to switch lights for autos
