I'm growing autoflowers for the first time, i have 3 OG kush in week 1 of flower and 2 ripleys OG about to start. Im noticing alot of fan leaf growth.
I've been doing LST/LEAF TUCKING and i'm wondering when and how often I should defoliate without stressing the plants to slow down growth.
TIA

If the leaves aren’t blocking bud sites, leave them alone! An auto’s lifespan is short, those fan leaves power the plant and give energy to the plant and aid in bud formation. Later in flowering the plant will also pull nutrients from those leaves (when they yellow trim them) as the plant finishes.
Edit: LST/tucking are exactly the best way to handle auto’s., looks good!

simple, you dont, it takes time for the plant to produce more green leaves full of chlorophyl to produce growth. when it comes to it, just tuck the larger leaves behind the bud sites, that way you have a power machine of a plant ,thats continualy growing to the max. ie, it woont waste precious time recooperating.
