Automatic watering system

Anyone know of an automatic watering system for 6 plants for 1 week. Thanks

You can set up a Blumat system, but need to allow several days for setup & tweaking to ensure it's all set up properly or it'll flood your space overnight. II can't recall which, but either the small or medium kit comes with enough to set up 6 plants. Blumats work best with only water though.

Check out Amazon, you can find them pretty cheap there if your just looking for quick fix while you away for that week. If you get one with just 1 or 2 inlet/outlets you can get "tee's" so you can water as many plants as you need. This is the one I use, it's a darn little work horse as well. This one is currently unavailable but there are some to choose from.

What is "small" in your opinion for GPH or were you using a different style pump?

I'd just get one of those simple ass drip feeder systems if it's only a week. Blumat is a good option but I have no experience with it. As others have said though it takes tinkering you can't just plug it in and expect everything to work perfectly day 1. I've heard people report flooding using gravity style setup with reservoirs.

I’m using a 1800gph submersible and it’s overkill for my small outdoor setup of 15 plants. 500-800gph should be enough for 6 plants depending on the distance from your rez.

I bought a blumat kit for a vacation one time years ago and liked it so much we just kept on using it. Great investment for soil grows; my bloom room is pretty much autonomous. Still need to water by hand to drench the roots every so often and it can be a pain in the ass to reset the system if the reservoir runs dry. Give yourself a week or two to get the drip set right so you don’t have puddles on the floor and/or an empty reservoir when you get back. Works best with fabric containers; impossible to overwater as any runoff just runs off. When I go away I set up a recycle timer with a pump so it refills the res once every day. Can probably go 3+ weeks like this. Blumats can be costly to set up if you have a lot of plants but the peace of mind while you relax away from home for awhile is worth it. Have yet to come home to droopy plants.
