Automatic Watering Systems

Hello All !

Not sure if this is the correct spot for this thread, but I am a big fan of this idea !

If anyone here has any knowledge or experience in this automation side of the growing world please let me know !

Opinions, links to products and photos of auto setups are welcomed !

Can you narrow it down a bit?

Are you talking general hydro setups or fully automated with nutrient dosing and mixing and ph monitoring and adjusting hardware?

More so non hydro automation if anyone does that !

Well auto-dosers I have no knowledge of but if you want to automate a soil grow you could look into

DTW .. drain to waste
Which is just a reservoir with water pump and manifold and drip lines . With some way of collecting waste.

Autopots.. which are bottom fed gravity systems , no mechanical parts.

It's a broad question. What media are you using? Everything has multiple solutions with different levels of complexity

Honestly just in general was looking for any and all information and photos/explanations of peoples setups !

Nothing specific !

Go to the grow journal forum. Click on the search icon and select to search only that forum. Type in what system you are thinking about, and threads of grow journals where people explain their set ups will pop up. Pick one and immerse yourself in a magical world of willy Wonka (gene wilder one) wonder in grows that span the globe

Check out the floraflex line. They make quality parts, they work well, and they are inexpensive. They sell in kits and Ala carte. They also have decent dry nutrients that work well.

I've been eyeing these.

These have good reviews and I've watched YouTube about them.

I was thinking about them. But not sure I want to spend that much.

I do have a 3 pack of the cheaper version that isn't adjustable.

Save your coin and check out floraflex if you're wanting to automate at all.
