Automating soil watering while out of town?

Is there a way to go from a reservoir to drip irrigation system?
I want to feed indoors, once a day for 2 minutes while I'm gone. Figure this can be done with drip timer but how do I put the sub pump on the same timer?? Thanks

you can get a reservoir and get a pump. How big depends on how many drip sits u need. I use a 1/2 hp mondi pump. Like a sump pump. I am able to feed up to 96 plants off a 70 gallon reservoir using drippers. I prefer to use less plants for more consistent feeding through the trays. U can use 1/2" hose or pvc as your main line/ manifold and using a hole punch u can punch 1/8" holes for your dripper line. Get whatever drippers u prefer and attach them. I would get a digital tuner and program it to go on for 1 minute at least twice aday. Pumps and stuff can get pricey but worth it for piece of mind. They last 2 days before the water runs a little to low and hot

I love these timers. 8 program settings.
