Avoid Hydroponics Market on Amazon

Ordered a pH meter from Hydroponics Market on Amazon. A Milwaukee model. $53 + change. S/H - $22.99!!!!! Now we in Alaska are used to this bullshit. Either "we don't ship to AK or HI" or they stick it to you. Unless they charge us more to ship to the Lower 48 than they do the reverse I know what shipping costs are!

OK I immediately bitch but want the thing, you know? I figure what the heck at least get it here ASAP. 11 days later . . . . .. "Tracking" is just a "Delivery Confirmation" that USPS shows only as "In transit".

$22.99 and these dumbasses send it Parcel Post. You are warned.

its really up to the company a lot of times its better to email them before you even buy, a lot of those guys will do free shipping(cause they have an arrangement with amazon) but, they did not "screw" you they are allowed to charge whatever they want for shipping and send it anyways they want unfortunately there is no set rates on shipping.

I contacted them. They offered a partial refund blaming it on Amazon. They claim Amazon makes them choose one shipping price so they charge for their highest shipping cost items. They are liars or or morons or both. Nobody else had it ready for immediate shipment. So I bit the bullet and paid it to get it -which has not happened.

I have found that when shopping for items on Amazon, there are multiple vendors with the same stuff, but they differ in shipping, price etc. I try to limit my purchases to those where I can utilize my Amazon Prime benefits, but of course that is not always available. At that point I really rely on the reviews. Hopefully you get your shit soon dude.

i catch them on ebay doing that crap, sell a item cheap but look at the shipping and its a obscene amount, gotta read the fine print. i just bought some seeds from , i cant remember from who but the checkout said 68$ and my bank statement said 101$ so i emailed them and they said they transferred the money from euros to american money and thats what it comes too, hella bullshit. they wont give my money back but they are sending me more seeds.
