Ok i got a plant from a friend id say its about a foot or so tall and just last night my brothers cat ate some of the leaves off the plant is there ne way to save it or is it gone?? Also can someone please tell me how to determine what stage it is in-first time grower

it's in vegetative groth right now...if the cat ate less than 50 percent of the leaves then it will be alright....if it ate more than that it could still be okay...need a pic to really tell though man
