I think i may of man handled my little lady abit to much. the only 2 leaves she did have has pretty much gone to shit. There are 2 extremely small secondary leaves, jus hoping it will pull through. Will post a picture in the morning, its under the 250w /mh at the moment and has been since 9am this morning. My other 1 is going ok i spose, 1 out of the 2 leaves is almost falling of and shrinking but the secondary leaves are looking good, forming the rigid shape of the leaf.

What do you guys reckon ?? if both the starter leaves fall off will it or can it still grow ????

Is the light to intense or producing to much heat ?? i checked the temp earlia and it was 31c with a fan on. . . ???

as long as there is living growth, the plant will create happy normal growth when the growing conditions change in its favor.

well ther is living growth but minute lol.

conditions in its favour ???
I think he is saying, the plant will continue to grow as long as you fix whatever it is that hurt it before.
And conditions become right for the plant once again, in the plants favor.

With the little seedlings, make sure the humidity is higher than usual. At that stage I like to keep them in a humidity dome, as a microclimate is easier to adjust. The first two little leaves are just getting nutrients from the seed itself. The new growth is more dependant in the medium for it's nutrients, so if you have a hot mix such as a soil with ferts in it, I would transplant as they are too strong for a little lady at that stage.

I'm just finishing a tangerine dream grow and ended up with three different phenotypes. Some are more indica dominant and two are sativa dominant. The sativa dom strains look like they'll end up taking at least 14 weeks when it's all saig and done! They are the longest flowering strain I've ever had. The indica dom strains are closer to the advertised flowering time so if I were to do it again, I would just clone the indica dom strains and ditch the sativas unless time isn't a factor in your flowering period.

Good luck man

i have a more detailed post on newbie section. use my name to find it.

Along from that im just usuing normal soil and have had a pot filled with water to help humidify the room. Also the room is only about 4ft x 4ft so it gets kinda of hot. i was in ther earlia for about 10 mins and came out sweating.

will deffo look out for the sativa as i have also been reading of its never ending flowering period lol. have u grown this strain before or smoked it ?? if so whats it saying ???

Amen dude. Your soil looks like wet brown concrete with no drainage and it's too wet. You just need to water a little around the seedlings. Also why two seedlings in one pot? Just get two one gallon pots and transplant them asap into some quality soil from your local hydro store. Should get some good growth from there.

ok i knew i'd get some grief over the soil. Basically its looks went because it was just watered, i have a moisture and ph meter and even when its wet like u said its still giving it between 4-6. It vary's from 0 being dry and 10 being wet. for instants i watered it this morning 9am, by 12pm the meter shows just below 5 or even 4 i know the soil isint of great quality but it will do trust me. last grow i done if u had seen that soil. . . even i was amazed the stinky budd it produced.

As for why do i have them in the same pot, i will transplant them when i get another pot. they will be fine for atleast 10-15 days.

oh yeah the soil has certain things already in it. i have what looks like egg shell defo wood chip or like a saw-dust, and what feels like potato peel.

something from my previous grow, just to prove my theory. 2 out of the 4 where ladies. very nice ladies too :D

I would stay away from any soil with "water retention" capability. Generally it does more harm than good and from what I have seen it just chokes the root out. You want to buy a soil with good drainage, not retention. This is my personal preference but honestly your root system is the most important parts of the plant.

If you can't get a good soil at your hydro store just search "super soil" here and you can find a lot of good home grown soils. You got this brother! If you need more help just ask!

il see how it goe but thanks a bunch for the advice, will be useful for future grows. If i ad some stones to the soil rather bottom or middle will that help it with drainage ??. Plants are coming along nicely i must say.
