PC casing ( forgot to mention its a PC grow)
2 12v CPU fans
Bagseeds (it was a while back when I got them I believe they were mids)

Well I between the ages of say 14-16 i tried growing in my attic, in my car in my backyard and somewhere on my dads farm. All fails. I did no research and just wished for the best, this time I've put some work and money into it and know a hell of alot more thanks to this website and the awesome people here. So this will be my first grow with effort haha yes.

Looking real good haha If only I could yield that much in a PC.

I just got a level temp with all 4 lights on its about 78.5, I feel like thats too hot

humidity is only at 26% but theres no plants or water or anything so I think I'm ok

few degrees cooler would be better if you can manage - very smart move doing a test run with no plants!

the more air circulation the more heat displacement so allowing more air flow should cool things down.

All right well after a couple of tweaks I decided I needed another fan. So it was all loaded up, then my temp hit 80! My themometer was next to the fan ( no air) and the light so when I re measured it was getting around 73 then I got some off the foam crap in my fan so now its covered with a thin layer of foam. Tomorrow I will have to get some goof off or something to clean it up. AND 1st seed started to germinate yay! Updates tomorrow

Okay fan issue fixed, thoug last night the one layer of duct tape holding my lights feel and busted one of my cfls, which i preceded to turn on <-- dumb
I now have a 23w in the bottom instead of a 14, luckily mah basement had one laying around.

Grow box is set ... for now

Heres my seeds and the one popping open, the one below it cracked open this morning so it should be getting bigger tomorrow. Any thoughts on when I should plant it?

Day 2:
Temp: 73.9
Humidity 32%

Its growing well, I don't think there is much stretching, at least I hope. I moved the light to about 4-5cm away from the plant Totally open now, with the two little spiked leaves already there. No other seeds opened so I am going to have to pray this is a female.

Any one heard of topping after the 1st or second nodes?

Here "she" is

Watch out for stem stretch. To prevent it make sure your light is as close as possible (without burning your plant of course). and a fan blowing on it helps. When they are young the fan shouldn't be too powerful but once they are bigger you should see them visibly move from the fan.

Day Five: (missed day 4)

I was on the lookout for that stretching, mine stretched a little bit because I had it set up wrong at first but now it shouldn't any more. Compared to what I have seen it's not stretched at all. As for the fan I have my intake pc fan blowing on it but thats all ill be able to manage, if the stem gets too weak ill throw in a stake to tie it to.
Temp 75.9 F
Humidity - 38%

Heres some new pictures on the day.

Should I transplant into a bigger pot soon?
How do I get it out of the soil?

Thanks email for your help, either it appears I'm doing really well, or your the only one who gives a crap ( I think the latter) Thank you again all the input is really appreciated

Oh yes and its tough to see but the 2nd set of leaves is starting to show!!! yay

i think you are doing fine - which is probably why others aren't posting. plus it is hard to find journals sometimes - don't take it personally. once folks do start posting - your journal will expand to the point you won't even know what the heck is going on.

try posting in other peoples journals and they tend to come visit yours.
