bag seed is garbage... 99% of all bagseed came from a garden full of fems that were given a screwed up flowering period, causing them to hermaphrodite. All this causes is a bunch of hermy seedlings that have no potential of growing the top quality herbals. If you are new to growing, you wont know how to prevent self-breeding, and you're if for a waste of time. I you enjoy seedy herb, go ahead, but for the sensi, you should either try to acquire clones and then mother them out, or buy quality bred seeds (seedboutique.com - check out joey weed, he has many affordable medical quality seeds available)...good luck 2 ya
it is true that bag seed originates from hermys or unculled males, but there are two types of hermys, genetic and environmental, genetic hermys will pass the hermy defect in its genes meaning that seedlings will have 1/2 chance of bieng hermy, environmental hermys still have normal genetics except that they have produced male flowers with female genetics, this is how feminised seeds are produced, so bagseed from unculled males has 1/2 chance of bieng female, genetic hermy has 1/2 chance of bieng the same plant used to grow the weed, and environmentla hermy has 100% chance of bieng a female plant of the exact same plant used to grow the weed, environmental hermys can be made by watering with a weak soloution of colloidial silver or silver thiosulfate, this is how they make feminised seeds, silver fucks up the copper ions within the enzymes that controll gender in weed

People are so uneducated when it comes to the bagseed concept. Yes...it takes high quality genetics too produce high quality weed, but...genetics in Marihuana are only HALF of the EQUATION. The GENOTYPE only plays 50% in the role of determinating the appereance and the quality of the plant. The other 50% is based and determining by environmental factors and conditions, because THC levels and cannabinoids ratios may change depending on environmental conditions. A plant with heavy trichome production is not an indication of a potent weed plant, what we have to worry is on high THC content in the plant and as GROWERS....provide the plant with the reason to make this conversion because if we don't...it will devote its energy elsewhere, such as big buds, woody stalk, big leaves, good smell, flavor...but NO HIGH!! So it's all 50-50 ok. No one can say Bagseed is bad. The only downfall with bagseed is you don't know what are you're getting...and its your own strain...name it!

The environmental hermie seed becomes genetic through its grow legacy, just to make it short. F1 + F2 = F1 + B2 = F2 and carries B2 seeds B2 + C1 = carries C1/B2 seeds and over and over. Become genetic.

Hi, just my 2cents. I've worked in south Africa a couple of times and every time I've brought weed over there their has always been seeds in the weed, Durban poison,Swazi and some from Nigeria which a friend brought down to joburg for me. The quality of the smoke was out of this world. So I thought I'd grow a couple myself and to much luck the first time I got 5 females out of 6. I'm not sure which was which cos they all went in the same pot but the flavours I got was aniseed and spicy. And some lovely fruit flavours and the best high anyone could ever have. But as it was bag seed I didn't bother taking any cuttings off them because I never thought they would turn out as well as they did. Big mistake!!!!! So IMO bag seed can be good it just depends in the DNA of the mother they came off.

Some of my best genetics I have found Pheno hunting through tons and tons of bagseed.

Proper Labeling and such is key, also killing males and catching early hermies and males is also important. otherwise go for, practice and who knows maybe you wont even need to order seed cause you will find a nice bomb genetic or two in those seeds.

ok ive been using bagseeds, because i have thousands, and they seem to be doing ok. is this ok for an amateur or do you guys think i should invest in some good seeds? ill get some pics up here soon, i gotta get a digi. like the new avatar :)
Shit dude for all you know you may have better genetics in that sack than all the "online places", I am willing to bet anyone with education, determination and dedication can create that superior medicine we all love. I have seen with my own eyes 400 watts of t-5's and random bagbeans produce phenomanol medicine.
