Balochistan - Kandahar

So, Took a pack from ILE, Balochistan #4, and popped 5 out of 20. This was because I wasn’t sure about popping landrace seeds… so I wanted to get an idea on germination. Out of 5 I got 3 healthy looking plants.

Using Farmer Freeman… I sex tested em.. and have one male and two females.

Male, looks like the leaves had slight mutations.. the first two sets curled up a lot, then it grew out of it and looks normal. Short, very small and leaves look a little more on the thicker side. When it grew out of the first node, the set of leaves curled so much it sort of topped itself.. but the branches coming out now look real good.

Female #1 , shorter of the two, broad leaves and rubber stem smell.. not super gassy.. but definitely a rubber smell and slightly sticky..

Female #2 , Taller of the two, super broad huge leaves.. no real smell to the stem rub.. semi sticky. But is growing huge and fast..

All of them showed leaf curl with the normal feeding schedule.. might be lighter eaters.

Will be popping the rest of the seeds I have.. 15 more. Hoping for a good germination rate.. and some good phenos..

Once all vegged out, and ready to go.. I will be doing an open pollination to preserve these genetics, the diversity of these genetics. I’m hoping to find some high CBD, CBG, THCV etc..

Can’t wait to grow these, pheno hunt em.. smoke em..

Will pop the Kandahar Red in a few weeks and start that process again…

will be posting separately about each cultivar
