I see the banana peel tea is making the rounds again. Banana peels are great for putting in your compost or worm bun where their broken down making the nutrients they contain available. The nutrients in banana peels don't just magically exit the peels and go into the water when you make a tea with them. And what are you using the banana peels for? Potassium? If that's the case then you might as well make potato tea since potatoes contain twice as much potassium as banana peels.

If you're going to use banana peels then compost them and add that to your soil.

I soak 4-5 shucked peels in refrigerated water. Shake shake shake. Add maybe a cup to my bucket of bubbling water. A little molasses and good.
Planning on sun drying peels and crushing them this summer.

Why not just juice a banana and throw the banana juice on it?

could water my plants with a different fruit every week. Watch I’ll start a trend!

My dad likes to use big pots and put a whole egg and banana in the bottom lol, he swears by it. Seems like an old school method but his grows work out good so it seems to work
