Do you know, when the leaves are all dead does the bud still develop?
Charley has hardly got a green leaf left and yet the trics are still mostly clear.
A few cloudy and hardly any are amber at all.
The leaves are storage centers of carbohydrates, theoretically if all of them naturally died off, the plant is using up its carb/food supply very quickly and it could indicate the need to be feed a higher level of carb suppliment.

Carb-Load works great to help prevent that.

Also if the leaf has any green left at all, do not pluck it off, try to cut right past the effected area, you want to leave as much as possible alone.

Oh how many weeks into flower are you?

Thanks, 8 1/2 weeks. July 10 they went in. I made a mistake and thought they had been flowering a month longer than they had When Charley started going yellow I stopped feeding her and have just been giving her pH'd water with molasses. I use a tea-spoon with every 2 litres plus 1/2 ml of superthrive.

I did give them a 1/4 dose of bloom nutes a few ddays ago and it looks like there are new flowers coming from the buds. I just hope that's what I am seeing.
Unfortunately my camera is not working, I will have it sorted in the next day or two.

This Picture of Charley was taken about 4 or 5 days ago.
Because the yellow leaves still pick up when she's fed I have left them and just cut off any bits that are dying, I have trimmed a few of these since the picture was taken.

The second leaf in from bottom right was trimmed, you can just see the curl.
I also give them a gentle tap and they will generally fall off if they are dead.

You think I should give her any more nutes? Her trics are mostly clear with maybe 10 15% cloudy and the odd few amber - which are mostly on the leaf edges,

Hello Blazin, nice to see you still around.
Isn't molasses a good source of carbs too?
Should I add a bit of both? I have an apple tree in my backyard!

Oh if you are 8.5 into flower it is very normal for the plant to start eating its leaves.

They look very good
Thanks GG that's reassuring.
I'm just coming over to see if your new pics are up yet.
I need a new memory card before I can add any new pics.

I'm really worried about the branches snapping from the weight of the buds.
Two have snapped already. :joint: The first time it was charley because she has long thin branches but Biga's broke because her buds are so fat and heavy. It has been drying for four days and isn't even halfway dried yet,:-? I think that's because of the amount of trics she had, she was/is coated in thick trics,:hump: Unfortunately, still clear too. It will still be a nice smoke though. Whenever that will be. A couple of weeks I reckon. Maybe sooner.

Really looking great brother!

Cheers

invest in some stakes next time ;)
Yes, I have some but wanted to leave it as natural as possible, the freedom helps the stems development.

My problem is how do I support the lower branches?
I'll figure something out.

I can't show any pictures until I sort out a memory card.

Right I have put some stakes in now, also, the other day I dropped my memory card down between the floorboards so today I got a big knife, and covered the blade with molasses then stuck it down the gap between the boars, hey presto! It came up with my card!:hump::clap:
So we have pics again.

Here are a couple of the problem branches.
The first few pics are Charley.

This is Biga.
Her buds are much thicker and heavier than the other plants.

One like this has already snapped off.
It's been drying for 5 days and still not even close to dry.

I have put some stakes in the side of the pots and will use some thread (soon as I find some) tied from the top of the canes to support the branches.
Anyone have a better idea?

Now my Camera is back in action here are a few other pictures.

Here's a few of Genie.
She is a bit bare of leaves after a bug attack.
There are still one or two bugs in my room, definately not eliminated them yet.
I think it is thrips coming from the apple tree outside.
I might have to get some friendlies to deal with that issue asap.

Whole plant

Main body.

Top.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also I have re-potted my clones, 3 of them (biggest) are going straight into flower. As you can see they are nearly all flowering anyway.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I did have a 600w plus a 400w HPS in my flower room.
I now have swapped the 400w sodium for a metal halide.
I think the plants will benefit plus I can put the plants I'm vegging in the flower room for 12 hours.
It saves on the electric, they spend 3 hours under a 400w MH that I have set up before and after they go in the flower room,
They are directly under the MH in there too although they will be getting red light at the same time, I think this can only be good for them.

Last but certainly not least.
My WW seedlings.
5 out of 5 have sprouted, all looking stretched a bit.
I will set the cubes as deep in the soil as I can get away with.

The one in the pot was started a couple of days earlier as I had not used root riot before.
I germed one and the other I put straight in the cube.
The cube took off first so the last three all went in the cubes without pre-germing.

All I have used is pHd water with superthrive to mist the seedlings.
I soaked the cubes before putting the seeds in them.
All are fine so far. As you can see.

It came off Biga and you can see by how clear the trics are with just the odd one here and there going cloudy, she obviously has a week or two to go still.

These plants are ready!!
you wait for the hairs to turn cloudy then amber! not the thc! i cant see any non-amber hairs

What makes you say that?
I haven't heard of that before.

Are you saying this is wrong or this is something specific to G13s.
I know there are some strains that you harvest with clear trics but not these.

Id say a little bit of knowlage is a dangerous thing, we all make mistakes. btw how r ur trics looking?

Tie the lower stems up with string or yarn to your main them right? then tie your main stem to the stake, multiple times, one at base then like higher, middle, higher, then top... feel me?

Still pretty much the same as they have been.
They are nearly all clear with a few clouy and 1 or 2 amber on the leaf edges.
I alreay started flushing and stopped the nutes but I'm thinking I could still have a week or two to go.
Should I give them some nutes?
I was thinking maybe half rec' dose just to keep them going.
