Barney's farm Acapulco gold.

Very nice :weed: I was looking at trying those seeds from them also. That name is making me have Flash back for days of OLD.bongsmilie:bigjoint: There was a saying back in the day that went like this. Acapulco gold bad ass weed, Smoke a joint and it will knock you to you knessssssssssssssssssss . I would like to know after you finish with it how it turned out.

Looking forward to it! Are you going to "girdle" the plant like they used to? I only had it twice "back in the day" but it left quite an impression on me.

wow thanks for the future pic of my baby..lol i got a 5 pack on the way.. how was the grow? do you have a journal on it?? just want to try and problem solve before i get into the grow... any heads up will be greatly appreciated.. looks like a nice yielding plant.. great job on the grow..

I have two Acapulco gold Outdoors Started March 1st put out last week in April Never tried it tho. Only purchased because my grandfather told me to get it and it was a strain from back in his days...

it grew real easy. healed from the topping very nicely. It survived Me completely overfeeding it with ease. it was very bushy during vegetation. but a strong hardy grow. my main colas are the size of Pringles cans.

How long has she had so far? An 100% Acapulco gold with less than 13 weeks flower would be very interesting to me.

I started flowering on May 2. it is my first grow with A.g. I am winging it but the"specs" on herbies says flowering takes 70-75 days, so I am guessing end of next week but it's ready when it's ready.

Just had a look at the specs myself. 11 weeks sounds good. Be interesting to hear how sativa dominant the finished herb is. Nice job btw! :-)

Wow, nice looking, brings me back too to the good old days, be very interested in knowing how she smokes, keep posted......please.

Smoke report, please! Especially if you had any back in the 70s. The Barney's Farm is not the "real deal" genetically, but they're trying to approximate that old high. If you had it then, does this come close?

jackrabbit as you see a lot of old timers are waiting for your report on the A.G i can tell you that the few times i had it in my younger years it was no joke. That and the Bo were the two bads weeds back in the 70's . Does anyone remember mash pecan or was that just some local homegrown? Or a three finger lid for $10.00 Oh the Good OLD days :peace::joint::hump:

Tried to rep you again jackrabbit. I would be more than happy to help you sample and do the smoke report. :)

I'll be starting my Acapulco Gold seeds sometime later this week. I have read that the trick to getting that famous golden hue is to dry in the tropical sun. I will be anxious to see how yours looks once dried so I know what to expect. Mine won't be ready to chop till the end of the year :(
