i'm probably too late to ask you any questions but I but I gotta try I have read a lot of your journals and you talk about flushing I would just like to know how do you flush your plan your plants wanted a time I know they are on a tarp I just always question that do you take him out and do one at a time Or how do you flush can't wait to see your next journal 70 years old and still learning every time I read one

Never too late, i always pop into old journals to see any additional posts.

In my mind, it's a matter of the type of fertilizer you use. if it's chemical based, a thorough flush is warranted. if it's organic, i really don't flush them out other then to use plain water when i water the last 5-7 days. if chemical based, i use something called clearex by Botanicare.

Either way, i do not remove the plants from the room. if i'm adding a lot of water to them, i'll run towels around the perimeter to soak up water that reaches outward. I'm not a big believer in over soaking my plants, even when i water normally. if anything, i underwater a bit- that's why i'm actually watering almost daily. if you put too much water into the plants, the room humidity goes off the scale, even with a dehumidifier in there.

i've started up again, this time with Barneys Mimosa x Orange Punch. About 3/4 of them have broken thru the soil. i may or may not do a thread, or maybe a small one like this one. i run threads on the Triple Crown races elsewhere- it takes up a lot of my time.

i'm pretty locked in with the Botanicare Pure Blend Pro fertilizer, which is 99% organic- so they run pretty clean and taste great when dried and cured. i never really see a reason to use chemical based stuff anymore, except for maybe price.

Are you a gambler or a horseman or both.

Gambler..........I've been running sports threads on Pregame.com since 2015- I'm probably most well known for my horse picks and analysis, which gets pretty extensive for the Triple Crown and Breeders Cup. 10,000 views for each race is very common. I also do one for football, which is up yo 20,000 views. They are the only 2 sports I'm heavily into.

I'm running barney's mimosa x orange punch right now and man, talk about some chunky ass buds. They're like pears flopping over in the tent, heavy and dense AF..

Not sure I'll do a pot journal on this grow.......I've been slowing down posting on the pot stuff and doing more on the gambling side of late. Either way, no reason to start a thread this early as they just popped and there's not much to see yet.

Thanks Tree B. for popping in........I actually have seeds for 5 strains on hand and spent a week trying to decide which to do. It came down to Barney's and an Ethos strain I've done before- Zsweet Inzanity. Theres a grow thread on it either here or THCFarmer. It was one of my best ever, but before I switched to LED's. I just grew a single plant to try the new seed run from Ethos and it was great- lots of strong Durban Poison hints in it. I'll do that strain next, for sure. I'll post a pic below of that when I'm done here

Regarding the gambling stuff, I usually go back and delete my past horse things when the race is over, as they include a lot of proprietary stuff I've either developed or developed with others. It get complicated because partners object to me sharing our hard work, and if I don't remove, it creates hard feelings among the group. With that said, here's a link to my current Kentucky Derby thread, which will run til early May. Over 3300 views and I've just started........

damn them buds look nice and tight so let's review if we can do you research your seeds Find the ones you think are gonna be good tasting and very good yield you use 5 gallon pots botanicare nukes and Calmag PH water 6.3 and defolate once in veg once first week in flower and then as needed after that veg times around 30 days if I'm missing anything big let me know will you LOL the reason I asked so many questions is I'm switching over from Fox farm stuff I used to like it been running it for years It just it just seems to be all over the place on me I've never really cared for the nuke system so I started reading your posts and you sold me on it At least gotta try it I run two flower rooms that are 5 by 5 and one bed

veg room that's three by 5 that way I can have a perpetual grow OK I know you're busy with the races I won't bug you and if you get a minute can drop me a line that'll help me I appreciate it i'll catch you later
best of luck at the races

i don't mind......... 4.3 gallon pots these days. Promix and perlite only. 6,3 pH with reverse osmosis water only. i spend countless hours looking at strains and reviews. Growdiaries.com is one of my favorites, and Reddit too. i top, lolipop and defoliate the first day of flowering, not before. Then continue to remove leaves, mainly large ones, that block any bud sites below low them. i am growing under the Gavita led's, which have a lot of white light that produces a leafy growth continuously. Your situation may be different. i used uv-b last grow, fixtures by Solar system. i use a dehumidifier in flowering only and have fans and exhaust fans running 24/7. i defoliated twice last crop, at flowering and at 5 weeks- and it hurt yield by about 2 lbs. Defoliate early, and not past around 2 weeks or your buds will be stunted and smaller. i only use feminized seeds- consider Corrando, cult classic and raw seeds if you can find them. After using many, many seed vendors, my go to now is North Atlantic Seed Co out of Maine. I get my shit in like 2-3 days priority mail. if you need a 10% discount code, let me know.
