My first grow ever. I didnt take it to the max.... is what i mean

I have two plants in a 4 gallon pot (12in wide, 15in deep).
I have them planted in miracle grow..(for now)
I have a 24" florecent plant tube light.
I also have a 26watt CFL mounted right next to it

Its all inside a 32" tv box surrounded by white paper...

what do you think..
im not trying to get some miracle out of this...
im just trying to get a little yield from my first plant.

jabrown3 if i was you i would have ventilation on at all times, do what i did just put a small simple 8" fan hitting your plant and do some holes on the side of your box and put some computer fans, one for air intake and 1 for outake =)

Definately add so perilite and if in teh future you are in a pinch and need to use Miracle Grow use the Organic Choice and mix in about 20% Perilite.. regular Miracle grow has time released ferts that can be no good for younger plants. It runs hot for sure but the organic choice actually works really well although I am many on here prefer something more along the lines of these..

You want your intake fan to be on the bottom of the box...say to the right....then you want ur exast to be on the top left....so air actualy circulates... and on oppisote sides of the box

1) Don't plant 2 plants into 1 pot, if 1 has a problem then both have a problem. This is going to bite you in the ass later.

2) Be VERY careful with MG soil it burns plants and is easy to over water and hence over fertilize

3) You can get perlite at k-mart, wal-mart, target, true value, Lowes, home depot, the corner grocery store, yo mommas basement. This should be very easy to find.

4) You need more light, the more the better.

5) you need to have at minimum a oscillating fan blowing air directly on your plants, without the air the stems will be weak and unable to hold the buds up to the light. Also the fan keeps dust from clogging the pores on the plants so they can breathe easier.

6) You need at minimum a thermometer so you can monitor temps inside your box, dont exceed 85F.

7) read this from beginning to end, many ?'s will be answered. ...GROWFAQ
