Strain has a large part to do with vertical growth but the better color spectrum helps. Like using mh for veg to keep em dense or using mh for the first few weeks of flower to minimize stretch. Red light brings vertical and blue side branching. At least thats what ive been told haha. That combined with the dispersed pattern of leds opposed to a single light source allows you to get them closer without burning/bleaching them, reducing stretch a little.

The info isnt always wrong. A couple years ago tech was a little behind. Shit grows every years. Also, alot of people/companies out there sell shitty products. Claiming a 400w led replaces a 1000w led. Ive never believed it and always figured that LED watts should equal HID watts, youre just using your watts more efficiently in those good color spectrums. there are many companies like AN that try to convince you of things and win you over with shiney bells and whistles while hiding true facts. Look up all the people on youtube plugging in "400w" panels and looking on a killawatt and only seeing 250w drawn and a good 20-30w of that is for fans...

Like anything in this business, good research and product reviews help alot.

If all goes well with my leds ill be doublin up my supply and grow area.

Thats just like modern business to exaggerate watts.
The Kill-A-Watt is a great thing for testing A/C current/power draw.

I have a magnetic ballast I think I need to replace since it doesnt seem to illuminate the bulbs as bright as my Lumatek does.
I can either get another dial-a-watt or some LED panes(s).
Not happening anytime soon with current $$, but maybe next yr after tax season.

In the garage grow 1st 17 days 12/12 was done with MH, and I do notice stacked nodes compared to a clone from same strain under the HPS in the house.

Its a different strain than i grew last but this is the first time ive gone hard with LEDs and ive used my 600w HPS since day one so i have a very good reference to how my hps flowers compared to these. Gonna be a good one haha.

Are you a Sponsor for grow evolution? It seems like there are quite a few sponsers for grow evolution .I contacted them to see if I could be a sponser and but I guess im not good enough yet because they completely ignored me. what the fuck does a girl have to do? lol

I'm a little bummed this morning, looks like I have a sausage fest going on.
Early sexing shows all 5 Blue Pit's I popped seem to have decided to be boy's :-(.
Hope Im wrong, (I think I'v been wrong before.....na....)
Gonna re-check at the end of the week, if they are all males,
I'll pop 5 more & see what happens.
The Eng Dream that I popped at same time hasn't started to show just yet.

the dog s1 is the dankest stuff i ever smoked, it's a shame you didn't have luck with yours. they do come with a warning but i suppose some just don't like to think they need to listen to peoples advice.
