to cull the surplus. Shame it looks nice and healthy too
 
Yeah oscar i could but ive been thinking alot about this one it seems its not really producing. Compared to another dog i have growing exact the same its crazy. And yeah these "unsexed balls" have been an ongoing process. Had a few on my other dogs but this one had more balls than real flowers. Most turned out female but caught three different places with nanners today so its out. Considering it looking like trouble and i could use more room for my other dogs, i made the hard decision :)
 
I am trying but dont wanna pollinate everything. Control will be the key word :) Still have hope for the colloidal silver. If it does not work i have clones of all :)
Wanna make some LemonDog beans to grow tall monster trees this summer :D Dreams...
 
Got strangely sick earlier and threw up. So i got to bed and ended up sleeping 5 hours. Should be sleeping now but cant because of that. So i ate two cookies and will probably go into movie mode :) Just dl'ed Bad Grandpa Should be a laugh.
No one answered back at the ec in dwc ? But ive been slowly raising ec every other day. at 2.5 now and think ill take it to 3 and stay there a week before lowering again. Damn i love the ease of dwc.

i have never grown dwc but i thought you didn't need to use a high e.c as the nutrient uptake is so good.

2.5 seems high to me, 3 is crazy but there is no sign of burn on her.

the slight downward turn on the end of the leaves could be the beginning of nitrogen toxicity
 
Im quick on the trigger! :P Found this and thought i could do better. But yeah lower ec higher uptake from what ive always believed. But then you see some other grows. Like this one where i got the ppm schedule from going as high as 3.2ec its the .5ppm. Massive nugs and slight deff.. So i thought id try it. But yeah i think im at top now and will just start lowering again. Leafs did seem happy'er 3 days ago :)

The way i learned to gauge ec/ppm was to
check your water beforehand and if it was
300 ppm and you wanted 1200 ppm i
would add nutrients until it got it to 1500 ppm.
So you would treat 300 as zero. You do have
to check your water every time though. I got
better results in nft doing it that way.
 
The best way to tell if your plants are getting enough/ too much in DWC is to measure the ec/ppm over time. If you put it in and the mix is 3.0 ec, the next day it's 3.1, there's too much food in there as the plants are drinking more water than 'eating' the food. If the next day it's 2.9 ec, then there is not enough food for them. Adjust as necessary.

I've run over 1500 ppm once... hated the way the buds tasted like nutrients. Always I keep things under 1200 ppm. Usually under 1000 ppm. or 2 ec by that scale.
 
I usually ran around 1200 or less with hydro. I found with the nutes I was using if I went above that my ph was too low and I've never owned ph up, only down.

i am in the race late but i am coming in right 19 blue pit ( RIP one pit in the mail ), 10 Dog S1, and not that it matters to this thread 10 fireballs

sorry to anybody who has entered this grow off using only the dog but i have to say from experience the blue pit is on another level!.

a perfect f1 hybrid imo, there are a few phenos but my favourites are the ones where the traits of both parents come through. they have the acrid stench of the fuely/limey/rubbery dog with the sweet berry perfume and taste of the deep blue and some great colour for added bag appeal.

again i'm not knocking the dog, it was my fav til i grew the blue pit, i just think dst has cracked it with the BP, i reckon you will sell a lot of these beans in the future.

I am overly exited about the dog, people talking about it being to strong for them and that killer body stone. How does pit hit compared to dog?
Cant you throw up a couple pics? I like you vids. But a little macro shot of the end product could be nice.
