Hello fellow RIU members and OG Seasoned Growers. I am new to this forum but have been on icmag back in the day... I just wanted to give some honest feedback on a recent purchase from BC Blondes.
I recently ordered 6 of the Samsung 561 ( 680 Real Watt Fixtures) for a collaborated medical grow and I am nothing shy of impressed by my experience with this company.
The order was very easy to place over the phone as I did but could be done online as well. I paid by credit card the process was effortless. My order arrived about 9 days after I placed it over the phone. It was discretely shipped by Canada post and was very well packaged.
The units are beautiful. There's very minimal assembly required simply screwing the rails onto the fixture takes about 5mins to set up the light and attach daisy chains. There are two power cords one for each 340watt led unit when you attach the 2 units together with the rails it definitely packs a punch and provides some seriously intense coverage over a 5 x 5 area.
The lights run very cool and are a steal at $1100-1200 plus tax and shipping.
Totally beats buying an HLG 550V1 or 550V2 (which only covers a 4 x 4 for flower ) for approx 1400cdn a unit and is solid. The fixture is heavy it weighs about 35lbs and also includes a dimmer switch.
I highly recommend BC Blondes they are great to deal with and are honest. The owner is not trying to rip off other med growers like these big led companies selling lights for 2000-2500 a piece let those lights stay collecting dust on the shelf.
I will also be putting in a pre-order for the BC Blondes Game Changer 680 Watt LEDs which have even more Samsung diodes and are even more light output than the Samsung 561 fixtures.
