Before taking the dive...

I’ve been reading and reading for a few weeks prepping for a purchase but there is one thing that throws me off. Looking at the Vero29 c se. this cob has a vf of 69v or somewhere close to that. CREEs are 36ish.

This confuses me because on a lot of builds Veros are referred to as ‘Vero29 se 36v’. A lot of times when folks list their parts.

Where are people getting 36 from on a C Vero?

if I wanted to run 3 of the 29 c se’s @ 1140 mah they would pull about 68v yielding about 77w each. Which means my driver would need to handle 68x3 volts. Do I have this right?

I ask because if someone were to use 36v on the Vero to size a driver to run several it seems like a mistake is looming.

Am I totally off the mark here?

vero C = 68V
vero B= 50V
vero D = 34V

all three of them are available as SE as well, that just means poke-in connectors

Gotcha on the SE designation. Thanks!

So depending on C B D cob I get it has a drastic impact on which driver I would select when running multiple on 1 driver?

3x3 tent and am looking to run 3 of these dimmable. I want the leg room to ramp it up if need be above 1140. To do this I need a driver that is rated at double the amps ~2.28a. Correct?

Is 1140 considered running them ‘hard’? For a 3x3
