High temps causes a number of issues in my experience, especially above 90F.

- Spider Mites <---- I hate those little Fuckers "Death To Spider Mites!!!!!" They love heat and humidity
- Airy/ Fluffy Buds
- Mold such as Powdery Mildew Likes High Heat and Humidity.

If your going to have high temps at least try and control the humidity. I fought myself from buying an A/C unit but then after 2 years I finally broke down and got one. Since then It has been rare for me to see those little bastard mites.

Also, Keep Everything Clean. remove Dead Leaves and stuff that just collect over time. Think Chemistry Lab clean.

Good luck on your grow man, Many good vibes sent your way.

thanks for passing by yktind also for the luck :) appreciate it... outake will be sorted out some point tomorrow to see if that will ease up on the temps, if not ill just get a intake pulling cool air from one of the vents around the flat... currently been disinfecting/cleaning wardobe and equipment every 3 days and after use...

*Quick Question*
Got a 15L bucket which i mix nutes/water and leave it cover in a room so no light can get at it (ive read somwere that its better to feed with water at room temp) is this correct?

Ok so here we are, going to start on the outake and filter air to attic, top of the coco seems to be getting mildrew/mold... thinking about re potting into fresh biobizz all mix... would this sort the problem as ive read it could be air circulation or a low strength h20 could sort the problem...

good air exchange and circulation is a must matey
i know my mate had issues with some mold in coco (but he was runnin 1600w of hps and it felt like australia in his tent lolwas foookin hot) and i cant remember how he cured the problem..

you said you was gonna take you intake from a vent??? make sure its clean man.. it'd be ok just suckin air from your room.. my intakes about a foot away from a window (never had issues)

im gonna have to start learnin again soon as i have my tent lol

the biobizz you mentiond is that soil or coco???

Have left window in room open about an inch or 2 to try circulate some fresh air in the room... hopefully i wont get bugs/pest finding there way in...

the biobizz all mix is soil
biobizz pre-fertilised professional soil that consists 20% sphagnum peat moss, 35% peat, 10% worm humus, 30% perlite and 5% pre-mix
there is also a light mix
bio_bizz_allmix.jpg
im going to pass on re-potting and try clean up the top layer or the coco and try improve air circulation but almost sure ill need to get a intake so as soon as funds allow thats what ill do.

That what i was thinking about the intake and vent, probably best for outake to go into attic and and intake from the same room as wardrobe, as i dont want to be pulling all the crap thats in the outside vent into my grow

thanks again shady much appreciated

...relax man, that 'nightmare' is nothing to worry about, ...not all fungi is bad and that is almost certainly a beneficial and you only have to look at your improving plants to see it.

mycorrhizal fungi

...i know this stuff is new to you bro and i know that panicy feeling you get when you see something you don't recognize but you need to try and just go with the flow and have confidence in yourself and your ability to find an answer to ANY problem that may arise. ...and this IS a weed and it EVOLVED to grow in DIRT which is chock full of fungi and bacteria so expect it to be a VERY hardy plant able to take MUCH abuse.

...now, if you'll excuse me, it's back to my vape, lol.

...you're welcome man and you should spend at least a little time at that site i linked to and maybe a google for 'beneficial fungi and bacteria' just to familiarize yourself a little with some of that stuff, ...the more research you do the more confident you'll feel and soon you'll be posting stuff like this without that edgy feeling of panic because you'll know that you can handle ANY problem that might come your way so something new is just an item of curiosity rather than something to be feared.

...and don't forget how much fun this hobby is, most especially when you begin enjoying the fruits of your labor, ...if it ain't fun, why bother? lol.

Yeah that's probably cool. My rez is in my room at all times. The only I have to do is add frozen water bottles in the summer to keep temps down. However I am in aero so the roots can't get to hot in my setup.

That is a great goal for success .

Make healthy girls and be happy with that. Work on weight later.

...yeah man, that light is just a common, multi-bulb bathroom vanity fixture that can be found in any home improvement stores you have over on your side of the pond, we have Lowes and Home Depot over here but there must be some equivalent in the UK, ...another option is either a discount builders supply or a builders salvage yard where you can find some really nice deals, especially if you're not afraid to do a little tinkerin', lol.

...that one pictured is one of 4 i bought at a local discount builders supply house for $4.88USD each back about 5 or 6 years ago so even at full retail you shouldn't have to spend more that $20.00 - $25.00USD, ...i don't know what that is in pounds sterling, lol, ...or euro's either for that matter!

...if you find a builders salvage yard you can find some awesome deals on used HID fixtures and even T5's and other fluorescent fixtures, ...some might need work but working on lights is relatively easy if you have any knack at all and can follow directions and a simple wiring diagram, believe me it ain't all that complicated, lol.

...there's no telling what a dedicated stoner with an abiding need can accomplish!
