Im looking to add yet another set up to our operation for my personal meds. We run a LED room, 2 greenhouses, a large outdoor and a small clone room(amongst other things). Im looking to add a tent set-up to our living room and start learning hydro on top of everything else. This will be for a couple of my personal plants of specific strains that I use to medicate with. Ive talked with a couple other folks about some of the newer light systems on the market that are dual ended and the brands that have been mentioned and recommended have been Gavita and Diablo. Im not looking for the best price, im looking for the best lights. Are Gavita lights all they are made out to be? Is there a better light brand you would recommend? and why?

Thanks RIU Crew!

Also, I see Gavita's cant be air cooled which is the only way I could run them in a tent setup. With that being said, im not dead set on running a tent. Id be more than happy to build a small room and install an a/c to accommodate this new equipment. This is a personal project guys. I want to use the best I can.

Gavitas and de you have height requirements. Not going to work well in a tent . You need a box with 9-10 foot ceilings. I don't know too much about the air cooled double ended. I have a gavita and it is brighter than fuck

I run gavitas 6/750e in a tent currently. I have them dialed down to 500w each because I only have 7ft vertical in this tent.

But I've got a buddy who has his gavita 1000w in a 8ft tent and his are running at 1150w. He just ventilates the shit out of it, lol

It's a different kind of heat from the gavitas, hard to explain. The unit itself doesn't get hot, just the light emmitted from it carries heat. So as long as adequate airflow above canopy and below bulb then you should be good.

But in all seriousness, I can't wait till I can give these lights more height and crank em up to see what they really do!
