Best headband genetics?

I was looking for the dankest headband/ sour kush what are your experiences as far as quality/potency/yield

Best headband from seed for me was Underdawg#1 by TopDawg seeds. The sour kush by RP is not headband. I believe Ganja Rebel is the only breeder with available crosses with real Headband clone used, there may be others. Loompa has a real nice Headband but hard to get seeds from Loompa. The sour kush that Reserva called headband for alittle while is great though. From tall sour diesel phenos to more squat sour kushy phenos, all of them out of pack i ran were very sour with hints of either lemon, fuel, or earthy.

What about the Cali connection has anyone had any experience with that one?

I second the Reserva Privada Headband. I only grew a single seed I got as a freebie, but it was some dank stuff. Mine was more of a lemony/fuel pheno that took about 9 weeks. I will definitely be picking up a pack next seed order.

Only thing I don't like is that I hear the phenos are all over the place. That's cool if you are into pheno hunting, but I don't have the space to keep mothers, so pretty much everything I run is from seed. In general I like a bit more stability in my strains, but that's just me and my style of growing.

The phenos i got from my Sour Kush from Reserva were pretty stable. You either got Diesel structure or OG kush structure. The buds pretty much all looked similar once done and smelled and tasted sorta similar. I only ran 5 of them. Found 2 keepers but really they were all keepers.

The Cali connection headband 818 isnt headband either. Ive seen decent pics and reports here and there but i dont buy Cali connection gear anymore, every time i run his gear i get crappy seeds or weak plants.

Id also look into Fuel by Connosseur genetics. Its similar to Sour Kush but alittle Chem thrown in there instead of OG.

headband phenos are quite common.

Running some Cali connection headband, (orphan plants from my man) 35 days in flower and they're okay, but not noteworthy. I would pass on CC beans if I were choosing.

I grew out the Reserva Privada Sour Kush Aka Headband, and I didn't really care for it. It looked great, but she didn't have a lot of smell or kick to her at all. The OG#18 killed it all around. Just my opinion.

i can vouch for the og#18 too, solid strain!

Anyone tried Med Man Headband? Just noticed it on hemp depot, sounds nice.

the Joseph OG male they use is a rename of a male from Loompa's headband.

Very nice! By the looks of that bud in the picture I'd say its just about done. You can probably chop that now if you wanted, but I'd wait another week.

818 is insane mine r extremely stable pheno wise...all four females turned out exact same two turned purple leaves at end of cycle...current fav strain Ever ran aside from critical + from dinafem

Just ordered loud beans headband. Starting a grow journal once they pop. Also I popped 818 headband from cc and although the pheno was out of this world it was not headband to me.

Ran 5 818 headband but 2 were males. 1 of the 3 females was not too shabby, but not headband to me. Running Reserva Privada's Sour Kush "headband" as well as Humboldt Seed Organization's headband for good measure right now. I just want some frickin' headband already.... I spent a year fooking around with various dispensary "headband clones", and every one was not even close. Was gifted a nasty case of PM as well as 2 different types of bugs for my troubles dealing with the clones...

There is only one correct answer to this question. There are lots of fakes and imitators out there, so buyer beware .There may be some out there that are pretty nice in someones eyes. Loompa Farms has been hard to find in the past but we are back in the forefront. Loompas Headband aka Underdog Og is the most potent best tasting clone only on planet earth . We are using it in alot of our breedings that are and soon will be available to connoisseurs and patients everywhere.

All the Diesels/ OG Kush/ Headband/ Sour runs back to Chemdawg 91 , so I would look for hybrids of that strain. Which hybrid really depends on what kind of high you like. I've got some Cheese Dawg that I'm super excited about.
