I fully agree Kushash.
Coco for me is simple, organic soil is next level as far as knowledge and requires a keener eye.
I will likely always stick with coco but I have a lot of respect for the organic guys.

Iam doing organic now and having problems. This is why I was thinking switch next grow. But get some opinions first Do u mix perlite with coco coir ? If so how much approx ?I fully agree Kushash.

I would probably have problems for a while if I used organic and ive been growing a long time.
I mix my coco with a random amount of perlite and it gets reused too.
probably 25% perlite if I had to guess.
Nothing wrong with straight coco
Coco is simple.
Keep ph between 5.8 and 6.2
Water until run off once a day or more
Always use nutrients but less than recommended
Don't allow it to fully dry out
Keep a bottle of cal/mag handy
If you have a problem test the run off EC and flush if its high.

Stuff is amazing. I can feed daily in 10 gallon pots but I'm growing large 6 to 7 foot tall plants and keep my humidity 40-45% in bloom to avoid Powdery Mildew and really make the plants drink nutrient solution. You want those plants to be thirsty and hungry for more. Soil just doesn't do it for me. Also the comment on quality is quite frankly retarded. Coco can be grown using organics and produce the same flavor as composted soil depending on how you feed it.. Its just a MEDIUM yeah it's INERT but that doesn't mean it cant be made into a quality mix?

So I was told to alternate water to feed every other watering with soil to reduce salt build up So your say with coco feed my nutes every feed (possibly daily) just at Maybe 50% feedchart recommended dosage ? And if it gets too high just flush since coco very easy to flush

See and the easiest for me is using rockwool cubes. I hate dirt (only because its a preference thing). But give me a F/D table and I'm in heaven.

7 Gallon pots would be a good size. How many plants and in how big of a space are you planning to grow?
By the way Cloud Coir is just my new favorite growing mix personally my second favorite, cheaper but still good quality is Mother Earth 70/30 coco/perlite but personally I like feeding as rapidly as possible so I don't want to have plants that are only drinking up nutrient solution every few days. I want to be feeding my plants every day so they get big and fat. That is why I like Coco for growing, also its very forgiving on overwatering especially if you get a high perlite blend.

I want to try every other day Long like soil Wud Ben nice BUT there are so many benefits with coco. No bugs. No over water. Vigorous growth =bigger yield. So I really wanna go coco. Do plastic pots Fabric. Or air pots That u water so often ?

I use fabric pots when I'm feeding daily. In the plastic pots I'm wateirng every other day. Each 10 gallon plant gets easily 2 gallons of nutrient solution at elast once every 48 hours with some runoff. Coco attracts certain bugs (thrips, gnats) so you will want to for sure get yourself some "mosquito dunks" in the pellet form to sprinkle on the tops of your coco once a month, it will prevent them from laying larvae and if they try to eat your roots they will die. I've learned that from almost 2 years of growing exclusively in coco.
I have grown in full hydroponics (rockwool, deep water culture DWC and Ebb & Flow), SOIL, OUTDOOR NOTILL and I can tell you that Coco FOR ME has been best but every grower is going to have an opinion and preference with different things for different reasons.
Summary
Keep it as simple as you possibly can, for this starting in coco/perlite blend will be a good choice. Trust me too and buy the more expensive brands like Canna, House & Garden, Char-Coir etc.. Usually the bags are going to cost $12-20 per/bag for 1.75 cubic feet bag depending where you live and when you're reading this.. 1.75 cu ft of coco fills about 1 and a half 10 gallon pots for me fluffing it in, never PACK down your medium.
There is no answer for what growing medium is best or easiest that is why there are so many options everyone has their preference its like fast food everyone likes a different one. You wont know what you like or what works until you try for yourself. Thats what I've had to do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can u go into a bit more detail on this For if quality is with soil then that’s where I will be. What type of soil is best. The organic ffof stuff is a bit uncontrollable?

Mix coco coire with your base soil at about 30 - 35%. Use dry lobster/kelp fert to amend. Did hydro: coco or rockwool for some time. Back to dirt. Much easier and better results here.

It’s my first grow and Iam just looking to keep it as easy as possible but will put in some work for quality and specially for quality so I will listen up On am using ffof and not having fun so far What type of soil do u use I like how coco sounded due to the naked slate With ffof it has so so much. I like how soil sounds cuz don’t have to water every day.

Iam in Canada is that stuff sold here aswell and is there a site that you can look up the ratios to mix in cuz that does sounds ideal
