let the recommendations begin!

peace out

Any nute line could be called expensive but you have to look at cost to yield. I run an expensive line and full additives but my cost is only around $1.14 per dried ounce. Damn good return if you ask me.

Yea dude your gonna make the right choice if you run AN. Now I'm sure ill get flack further down the thread for that but hey, what works works. They make the ph perfect and I love it. been running AN for quite some Time now and with the ph perfect its even easier.
Now the money part. If this line is used correctly you will not care about how much the line costs because you will be turning over some great yields. It's worth it

Theres also some bargain nute packs out there too. Techna flora is a cheaper line with nice results good for beginners as well. I guess you'll have to find a nute line that works for you and your style. For some AN is too many bottles and becomes a chore more than what they like to do.

ive also seen some real good results with general organics as well.

If you do pick up AN there ph perfect line just remember that when you top off your res and are not completely doing a res change don't use reg water to top off res. advanced recommends you top off with half strength nutes to maintain the ph perfect.

i haven't used a ph meter or ppm meter in like almost a year advanced does it for me.

ultimatley the choice is yours brutha. I'm sure you'll get some other opinions shortly from people who run different lines.

Oh yea I have no pics because I know zero about computers uploading and all that stuff. Once someone walks me through how to upload I'd gladly send you pics of my work.

I have been using Stinkbud's Botanicare formula and it works great!
His formula is ridiculously strong. No need for ppm that high and some of the additives are way over needed levels. I run the same line just different formula at half the ppm and it way out produces his formula.

Recently switched from lucas formula to Dynagro and the ladies are loving it! Running about 1/2 strength.

I use Plant Prod 20/20/20 with micronutrients for veg and a 5 part dry chemical recipe for bud. The cost savings are incredible with the dry chems!

GH's FloraNova Series, I use only the bloom, NO grow, so its 1 bottle I have to open no mixing involved the olé' K.I.S.S. method a true 1 part and done.--- Plant in first pic way in the back is kind of sketchy due to my slack ass letting a dripper get clogged and not noticing it so don't let that influence you in any way.

Wow thanks so much for all your advice and stories! I think I'm going to try advanced nutes after all! They SEEM like the best on the market so il give them a whirl! Ph perfect for dwc seems like the most sensible thing to do! Thanks for the pics maineweed they look lush! Iv also found like a pack on eBay with grow bloom and 4 expensive additives for a very reasonable price, il let y'all know how I get on!

peace

Yeah sorry but fuck advanced. Almost all nutrients are decent, some just spread out their line into too many bottles. For example in advanced they have like 20+ additives. Many which they water down unnessisarrily.

Look into house & garden nutrients. I've tried over 20 lines. Theirs may seem pricy to jump into but when you do the math
(ml dose\ml in bottle)/cost

Which is basically how many servings do you get per bottle and how much each serving cost.

Send em an email and for $15 they'll send you a sample (well worth it!!! Full sized bottles)

The reason why they kick ass is because of low salt build up (keeps soil or medium from getting "hot") and a couple of their additives like

ROOTS EXCELURATOR!!!!

1ml per galon and this shit makes your roots noticibly explode!!! I don't care what line you are using, add this and you'll notice a diff.... Even the advanced nutrients owner has a YouTube video saying they are stopping making root shit because h&g is better than anything they can put out or on the market... Trust me and you will have a much easier time growing!!!!

I feed every water with this shit! Plants love life

.... I swear I don't work for em ha

Botanicare Pure Blend Pro is inexpensive and easy to use. I would sup with a little calmg for sure with it, but it gets the job done.
If you are on a tight budget and want to use AN, look into the Jungle Juice line. They just released a 2 part version of it and it is like $15 a L. That is about as inexpensive as it gets for a nice 2 part. You also don't need to run it at full strength. I would run smaller to medium plants at half strength. I use the pH Perfect line, but I did a run with Jungle Juice and I was happy with it. I get better results with pHP.

If you are focusing on upfront cost, you should also keep take a look at application rates. There are a lot of products or lines that seem expensive, but if you take concentration into consideration and end results into consideration, you will realize that a nice nutrient is worth every penny.

I used it a couple of years ago on a drip system and I had issues with it plugging my setup, if its the same stuff. The stuff I had was quite granular (thick) and a poop brown color. It was so bad that I actually lost the plant and went back to soil for a bit lol. I could have been the cause though as I didnt know shit about hydro (still dont lol).
