Where can the best prices be found for RDWC components?

Black vinyl tubing or flexible pvc, 1" and 3/4"?

Blue vinyl tubing?

Air line tubing?

Bulkhead fittings, 3/4", 1", 2" and 3"
Airwalker16 provided the following in a separate thread, but they don't carry 3" bulkhead fittings: https://alliedaqua.com/equipment-and-supplies/plumbing-and-fittings/bulkheads-and-uniseals/

Black buckets (or are the blue Lowe's sufficient to keep out light?), Is paint or Mylar glued to bucket sufficient?

Pumps? Ecoplus, Jebao DC? Others?

I couldn't find a thread with best prices and go to vendors so figured I'd start one.

I bought all of my PVC fittings from Supplyhouse..elbows, valves, Tee's ect. I spent $219 compared to $525 at Lowe's, HD or Menards. I'm all about shopping around..that prolly why my builds take a while. I also use conduit fittings instead of bulkheads..saved me hundreds on that as well.

I wish there were hydroponic stores around me. I get my stuff from Amazon and it costs a small fortune. I wish I knew more about pipe fittings and piping we have a hardware store, I'd just be lost. I use aquarium tubing and bulkheads.

No you don't. Amazon is better.
I have a huge one so close to my house I could walk to it. I've bought 1 thing there because the prices are insane on everything and the selection isn't great for the size of the place.

-I promise you don't need any larger than 2" if you size your buckets right to the size of the plants you want to grow.
-You won't find better bulkhead prices than the link you have already. If you're concerned, run 2 bulkheads per site like a lot of us do. It'll still be cheaper than doing 3" drains.
-Black tubing on Amazon or ebay. I searched forever and ended up ordering from one of those idr. Don't use blue. Black for everything. You don't want any light in it and the blue stuff is usually not light proof.
-same for the air line. Hard to beat ebay/Amazon here unless you find some on a local buy/sell group/app.
-blue lowes buckets are NOT light proof. Painting or wrapping are acceptable. Just need to make sure it's light proof.
-uline for square buckets. Ship to store through lowes, home depot or Walmart, for 5 gal black buckets. Id really suggest taking a look at the Home depot totes though. I use 17 gallon ones. They're a bit bigger than necessary, but with 2" drains I don't have any traveling roots. 12s would still be really nice.
-go for a DC pump, I wish I would have spent the extra money from the start. I have one of the jebao DCP sine wave ones, the 8000, and have been very happy with it so far.

Thx! I went with 15gal buckets from HomeDepot, red lids. Black HomeDepot buckets. Found local grow shop with 50ft of 1" black tubing for $75 so bought it, if not I'd check pond company or ebay. I also bought a couple of the Jebao sine pumps, I think a 10000 and 5000. Was hoping this thread would help fellow dwc newbies find good vendors and prices in future as well....which it's coming together nicely. Thanks for the input!

Should work perfectly.
I use the 2" bulkheads on my 4 tote UC system.
I've had a couple of seasons use with zero issues.
Damn simple system-just a river/waterfall of nute solution that grows trees.
