Best reflector/bulb for my tent 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.0

Hi,

I currently have 9 2 week old plants baking under my 600watt. A mix of 6 autos from sweet seeds and 3 normals that came as freebies along with the original order. I have improved my setup since my previous "ghetto" grow (more details in journal). Part of the improvement was to purchase a tent, went with a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.0. Once up and installed I found the temps to be running uncomfortably high as a result I bought and extraction fan and carbon filter. Temps are running nicely now just around 80 degrees and while I know I could do with another fan and as an intake I cannot really afford at the moment. I do however wish to upgrade the reflector as the one I have feels like its made cheaply and does not offer the consistent coverage I would like. I also intend to upgrade the bulb as whilst the plants are doing fine under this one I am unsure if it was a dual spec model.

As a result I have 2 questions:

1.) What reflector should I get. Budget is an issue (I'm cheap) but I wish to cover the whole 1.2m at fairly close range. Have been looking at the parabolic shades but i am now thinking about them locking in heat as they are large. If this is the shade to go for what size 1.0 or 80 cm? Will they adequately cover the whole area?

2.) Considering I have a digital ballast, what bulb should I get? Understand if you have a magnetic and this is a personal choice for debate on another forum but looking for advice on digital owners, particularly if it's a maxi bright.

Current setup

600w maxibright digital ballast.
Cheapo euro style reflector
Unknown HID light
4 inch extraction fan
1 carbon filter
1 12 inch osilating fan (inside tent)
1 10 inch fan (outside tent, blowing into tent via inlet)
Tent 1.2m x 1.2m x 2.0m

All feedback great fully received.

Cheers

id go with something like an Easy Cool 6 or an Easy Cool 8 they offer good coverage and they would do nicely n the tent you are in the 6 is 99 bucks and the 8 is 115

Hey Guys,

Thanks for input I am UK based so prices will vary. My main issue with getting a air cooled hood is that I will have to purchase an additional fan. Would a 80 cm parabolic cover 120cm?

You're gonna need a fan for cooling either way, and depending on where you live odor control will be needed I would assume.

Thanks for the input but I do have an extractor fan and a carbon filter, as detailed in the current setup. Temps are cool and I am okay with that. Trying to establish coverage and a reasonably priced bulb for a digi.
