Lmaoo I like that. And Will do!! This weekend guess I'll b buying a pack of copper chem. Will just have to put barn burner on the back burner for a while. I also forgot to mention I bought a pack of pioneer kush that i gifted to a friend . Thats Not my grow but it is close by so i will see how that turns out in the next few months a lil after my city slicker harvest
The copper chem is on the reverse auctions pretty regularly.... keep an eye on and you can probably snag it much cheaper

I'm actually at about week 3 of flower right now. GPS is first USA breeder ive dealt with. I've heard about seedsupreme and Oregon elite seeds , dank genetics I think. But haven't gotten around to em yet. But my days of dealing with the attitude are over .. dealt with them fit years and honestly could never be sure if they are giving me the correct seed or the "old switcheroo" I recently ordered from gyo for first time . That was the karma gear along with a 501st og from rare darkness they gave me cheese and super skunk as freebies too. I gave em all away once I found out about greenpoint
Man all of these breeders and genetics are so confusing to me lol. I am clueless reading about all of them. I guess next step for me is to properly study genetics and breeders.
Last grow nanners everywhere, fair enough i stressed them a bit but the unstability for me is getting worse.

Not knocking freebies at all . I've gotten some pretty good freebies like cotton candy from delicious seeds . That was my very first grow. The cola from that is actually still my avatar. I would grow it again if it wasnt such a crazy sativa . Grew like 6 ft tall .. and honestly it was so long ago idk if that smoke could match what I'm used to nowadays. Would b interested if I had more space
Mmmmm cotton candy i forgot about that one.

First thing is knowing what u like. After that the battle is simple .. go after it. Nanners happen bro. Just found a few on a few lower branches of my city slicker last night. But city slicker is gelato 33 x stardawg. Gelato is a cookie hybrid . And we all kno how unstable cookie strains are. So it's the risk I gotta take for the kinda trees I wanna smoke. U kinda remind me if myself when I started growing.. i couldn't understand y all the strains i liked were such low yielding.. but that's like asking God y cant ur lady have huge boobs & an ass to match her gorgeous face. (Unless ur me, then its par for the course lol)

Best breeder? Too funny.

Most of the pollen chuckers on this site are putting out stuff as good or better than what many of these so called breeders with fancy names and shiny packs of seeds are selling. There are very few true breeders. A good portion of the stuff out there is just from some dude making crosses of other peoples work.

Sound like u tryna take shots at ppl .. listen , I've been in this forum for yrs . Heard all the debates on breeding vs. Pollen chucking. Heard the backstory on greenpoint and the whole top dawg seed thing. Honestly its entertaining. Some good stories but I really dont care. If u got fire , then u got fire .. good genetics are all I'm after. Not to mention everybody uses everyone's work . Any cross u name started from Somewhere and somebodies work. Unless ur starting with bagseed , which is still someone's work. Just dont know who's work it is

True might just jump into the deepend with some of these genetics but the moneymaker i had was covered lol. Its maybe just me being over ambitious as i wasnt using a timer, i am still pulling over a g a watt with what i feel are unstable genetics. I want to really push it, i dont see why more people arent getting to the 2g/watt mark, especially now that alot more research is being done into it.
My issue is that the phenotypes are varying too much compared to how they used to, SLH for example.
Perhaps for me the obvious option clones haha.
I kinda want a solid small chunky indica. Cherry bomb that takes me back that stuff was awesome.

Take shots? Yes I'll take shots at the entire industry from seed companies to nutrient companies to overpriced light manufacturers. Only cannabis growers fall for all the hype and fancy marketing. It's a complete joke.

For the record, I don't follow all the soap opera drama going on behind the scenes and I don't care. I do know that many of these so called breeders with fancy names and labels are just pollen chuckers with websites. I don't want or need any of their offerings. I've chucked stuff as good as anything they have to offer just like many people on this site. It's a damn plant and not worth $20 a seed or $2000 a clone.

I def understand ur point of view. But take a second and try to understand mine. I live in a state where getting a clone of quality is nearly impossible. And as an indoor grower with very limited space I've never had the opportunity to breed. Need my space to make bud. I didnt even have space to grow non fem seeds until phylos came along. So for me my only way of obtaining quality genetics is through a seed co.

He's not talking down on people buying seeds, man. He's just speaking the truth. There's nothing wrong with pollen chucking if you have a knack for male selection.... BUT no one should be trying to get hundreds of dollars for a pack of seeds from a cross that hasn't even been grown out by anyone yet. If you work a line for 3 or more generations and have it stabilized down to one or two phenos, GREAT! Charge a premium for the work you put in. If you're just sticking one male picked from the first pack of seeds you ever bought in a room full of girls, your shit isn't worth $100. Those days are long gone. The hype machine preys on noobs and people who have no connections. Don't buy into it. Most of the best seeds I've ever run were gifted for free or purchased from low-cost pollen chuckers like Beanhoarder and Joey Weed.

U sound experienced , and say that you have chucked pollen with good results. so to get back to my original question . Which seed co. Have u had best results with? And which co. And strain did u deem worthy to begin ur breeding/chucking or w.e u wanna call it?

People making crosses of clones is not just shooting in the dark. If you want to make good seeds, you should be breeding plants that are clones. Clone plants have already been selected as being special and have the dna to make special seeds. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with breeders doing it.

I hear ya. I wanted something stable myself, that's y I wanted to grow the biker kush from karma. But that conflicted with my wanting to grow american genetics. And I could not find any american breeders with any real worked genetic lines .. or if they do, it's the older stuff . I wanna grow cookies and all this new stuff tho tbh

There's nothing wrong with it, but it's not breeding and there's no reason to try to get rich off something that requires very little knowledge or effort. I don't have an issue with how anyone makes their crosses unless they're taking credit for the work of others or trying to rip people a new one just because they don't have access to elite cuts.

Seed prices are high I agree. But the genetics of the elite clone is what we want. So what it doesnt take a genius to do it. It may take some legality risks or whatever other risks to make it happen. Plus no one is forcing anyone to buy anyones seeds.

People would only get upset by the high prices because some "breeder" has something thry want at a price they could not afford.

Just be aware that Cookies is quickly becoming as generic a term as Diesel, Headband, or OG Kush. Look at all the European seed companies sticking those names on random stuff just to sell it. There are plenty of "breeders" doing the same thing stateside. Hell, a lot of them get started with S1s that aren't even really made from the cuts the seed companies claim... then they unknowingly release new crosses with the fake as part of the genetic. If you want real crosses with Cookies, look at Bodhi, Thug Pug, Archive, and others with long-standing reputations and the respect of their peers. If you want real worked lines, most of those breeders are off the grid and out of the limelight. Loompa, CSI Humboldt, The Rev, and a few others work their lines but they are the exception to the rule.

I got some dj short F5 eeds and some other bangi haze F8s and other stuff. Yeah its good but some chuckster in house genetics stuff is even better. All he did was cross some dank cuts. Thats all I care about how dank it is. Dont care how long it took to get there or how difficult it was.

O I kno .. similar to how once upon a time in my area all hygrade bud was called dro. And all mids were called skunk or "Ari" . Or how ten yrs ago all seeds had kush on the end of it . Lmaoo . Trust me, I get it... I'm growing "city slicker" now. There's no "cookie" in that name, it's just that i do my research and learn lineages as best i can. But back to my ORIGINAL question?? Which breeders have u guys had the most success with ??
