I'm not knocking Nirvana , just they are a Budget seedbank, you get what you pay for,
Herbies just buy in , stock them in a fridge until you order them , then a girl runs out to buy Envelopes...

love TGA. currently sitting on 4 strains 5 and 10 packs waiting to pop.

also sitting on a bunch of other strains as well. cant really give an opinion on much other than tga atm though.
will be running my 2nd strain from sensi seeds. the hindu kush was pretty amazing. really consistent pheno's, and even though its listed as a low yield, its been pretty consistant at topping my list on yield.

GDP is said to be stable genes, have a pack of that sitting around to be popped as well, so work on that will come soon. other people running it currently, havent read around, and dont really trust much till i try something myself. (not everything works for every grower.)

Why are you saying to us to stay away from barneys farm? I admit i've never grew them, but there vanilla kush among others is a cupwinner and best seller on a few seedsbanks/seed sites.

i ran 2 packs of vanilla kush and did not find a keeper , just averge smoke ,

it won a cup because somebody popd who knows how many seeds , and found a killer pheno ,
not ever pack of vanilla kush will be the next cup winner , lol

They are the best commercial breeders, fuck the dutch and spannish,who just seem to recycle b/s old genetics and water them down, critical x every thing is lame,same with amnesia every thing, the states and canada is where the good genes are from

Also word of wisdom on dutch seed companies "cup winnings" greenhouse/barneys buy up all the judges tickets,send in "fake judges" that only vote barneys or greenhouse even it it had bud rot/mildew or signs of spider mite, this has been the case for many many years now,so they are all rigged

More often than not, seeds are hybrids of many different strains. Your example of blueberry is a multi hybrid strain that consists of two different thais, a mexican sativa and an afgan indica. Plus, the phenotypes that were used in the selection process will have a huge impact on the offspring. They may have only selected for blueberry smell, or coloration, or flowering time etc. and may be stable in one regard and be totally unstable in others. Almost all of DJ Short's strains have the same common ancestors but favor one over the others. Many times there are known phenotypes of a selected strain that appear a certain % of the time. F1s (the offspring of 2 different true breeding lines) are said to be very stable and in theory they are.
