Best Strain For Chronic Back Pain?

This is for anyone who has back pain like I do but doesn't enjoy having to take the narcotics like oxycodone, etc. to get back pain relieft. Any Growers out there have experience with a strain that really helped their pain out? I would + rep people that help me out on this question.

Strong indicas generally work pretty good, but can leave you feeling retarded. I've had good luck with some hybrids more on the 50-80% sativa range. My two current favorites in this catagory would be AK-47 (serious seeds) and Vortex (TGA). Both are very strong but don't leave you unable to interact with non stoned people. I've heard Kali Mist (serious seeds) is the queen of narcotic like but clear headed highs, but it has a very long flower time- 12 weeks or more.

For medical strain questions you might do better to ask in the medical forum or Google medical strains and their benefits and effects. Most people in this part of the site are more interested in Mr. Toad's Wild Ride than the medicinal properties of cannabis.
