Best USB Hand Held Microscope?

Aloha Fellow RIP'ers~

It seems like there are problems with a great many of the descriptions for these scopes. In fact, as earlier noted, several only have the two settings and nothing in between. I was especially interested in the one from 420 Science bc, well... wouldn't THEY have the most perfect stuff? esp. knowing what we are using it for? Ummm... re: the 20x-800x? Not so much... (imho)

The scope from 420-Science (not the "420 scope" tho...) did not work for me. I too was thinking how cool it would be to see them trichs and take a pic @ 800x and get some input re: harvest times, etc. Nope. The "dial", once retracted STUCK (I had to pry it back with a screw-driver = scratches). The exe. & app. files would do no such a thing and I went thru every "compatability" scenario for the software with no luck on two desk tops, two laptops, and all different ISP's (not sure that even matters but thought I would try).

I packed it up and they are sending a return label for a full refund which that part is cool.

I bought a "420 Scope" from Amazon for $16. cheaper than 420 Science's SAME model ($26.)
I also got a tiny lil cheap-o one from China, bc, dayum... I read some good stuff about it and it was only $6.
Should be here in a few days but I will always be checking this thread for ideas and input!

***Thanks so much for ALL the help and links and suggestions, please keep adding anything else you like to use or have used!

Anyone ever see those (real) Microscopes with the digital imaging package ADD on?
Saw this one pic (lets just say 8 x 11 bc it filled the screen) and it was of ONE TRICH! Perfection. (but... $$$)

Camera stores aren't even in price range, I know bc I checked today and left laughing!
