hi guys Iwent to check on plants today and when I went into the room i noticed the temp in there're ached over 40 degrees Celsius,I got worried.

My question is what's the best way to get the room back down to about 26 degrees?

Iv already got a 8inch filter in there and a inline fan for cool air and 2 oscillating fans,1 on the ballasts and the other blowing on the plants..
Iv got 12x600 watt HPS lights in there..

Any help wud be much help

Thanks guys!

Damn 12x600...nice! You need an ac unit, there are calculators available online to figure out how much ac you need. Something like 50000 btu is what i got on the calculator but that seems like too much. There are people here than know about how much ac you would need to cool that. Also need to post more info, room size, air cooled bulbs? Or open bulb?, duct lengths? Inline fan cfm rating, how are you exhausting air, where is you intake, where is the air coming from for the intake? Is intake air cool/warm?

Open bulbs with normal aluminium shades.
Room is 3x4mtrs
Cool air getn sucked in from the outside.
8inch carbon filter
I was thinking bout getn another carbon filter to suck more hot air out.

Moving air will only do so much. At some point when running lots of hd lighting you have to use a/c....there is just no way around it. Except if you grow in the winter and use cold air intake with dampers to control temps. Below is the link tk the btu calculator i was using.

Wow, 12 600s in a small area...and you guys are recommending a/c? LOL, you gotta get cool tubs on those and pull the air outta their completely. A/c can only do so much before cost effectiveness is gone

I run a sealed room with A/c and c02, I control the entire environment. It's been cost effective for over 5 yrs
