I completely understood what you were asking and I answered you with the best possible answer. If you were looking for a different answer then perhaps you should have asked a different question.

By the way - I have already had successful grows simply having the lights turn off 6 hours earlier than the 18/6 cycle- i was just asking if there was a better way for my next grow going into flower. There are so many nuances- I figured there may be someone with a proven method. Maybe not-

Not only did I give you the best advice, you agreed and told me I gave you great advice the continued to call me an asshole in 3 separate posts. You have some serious issues.

Different techniques- like gas lantern and such are individual choices - not set in stone.

Many run 16/8 after 18/6 then12/12 to 11/13 and so on. As they try to mimic seasonal changes in light. But there is a point of cycle manipulation that can set off some wonky growth . Stick to the basics.

Proven method.

Unplug timer from outlet.
Change timer from 18/6 to 12/12.
Plug timer back into outlet.
