Man I remember that Thai you speak of.. That stuff was crazy. I remember sharing a Joint with bro's then paddling out in overhead perfect waves in Newport Beach. Since that day my life as never been the same,, the warm offshore wind and speed of those waves that day still gives me the goose bumps. even now a can still remember that rush,, I still search for that feeling but just can't find it.. reminds me of a song . I wish I knew which strains they were but back in the late 80's early 90's I had 2 instances that I recall. I had a smoke one time that crossed my eyes. I couldn't see straight for at least an hour. I mentioned this on another thread, my buddy's dad was/is a hell's angel and he would get the bomb green. It was almost flourecent green. well this shit would make you spin as if you were drunk... those were the best smokes I can recall having... stay high

While I understand that the guys running Thai also ran opium, I don't believe it was ever actually dipped. It was speculated that they dipped it because the weed was so strong. People well connected into that scene back in the day on other forums who have been vouched for by reputable folks suggest that it was only a myth it was dipped. That it was just that strong.

before i took lithium any weed was good for me after that i can smoke it without having some kind of mental problem

My favorite still is blue dream. I had got some ak47 a while back that I remember was real good. But the blue dream is still my favorite. Even with as high a tolerance as I have, one bowl is more than enough to get me stoned.

In the early 80's I had some Thai stick. It was on a little stick and some kind of light twine wrapped around it. 3 hits of that and you wouldnt want to smoke for hours.
Also had some Lambsbreath which had such a good taste and buzz.
My favorite was called Rainbow. It was gold, red, black and tasted like hash.

as ryantherhino say's it is relative. some of the best ganja i've smoked it has been bag seed at times but the gathering was great, giggles and feeling great thereby making it the best.
