Because of the laws man the laws. Medical patients typically only get to grow 6 plants legally, it makes us want to do silly things with 6 big plants. They are not vegged in the flower area, they veg in another area under a couple kw and flip in the flower room like zero veg sogs so you need to rethink what you would consider pissing in the wind.

oh yeah.. good response oregmeds. would you agree that vertical bulbs are basically the only way to get these sized trees?

also, some strains that ive grown with big yeilds would be, northern lights, trinity, skunk one.. i hear pot of gold, critical mass, kong, nebula, chronic, big bug and laughing buddah all have good production

OM.... Does the 6 plant limit allow you to grow outside? Or do they want that stuff out of sight.....
We can grow outside but it's not legal if the general public can see it, it has to be hidden. I have a small yard I could grow outdoors in, if I scrogged them to the floor, except it would get stolen for sure even still because the neighbors are all close enough to smell it and 3 of them can see down into my yard directly and would spot it in a heartbeat.

Yes vertical bulbs are the only way. Well that or vert and horizontal, never horizontal alone.

So far nobody's even tried 1500w hps's and halides, being so new to the market and since only a few people live where power is cheap enough, so we haven't even hit the limit yet as far as what is possible if you are willing to go to stupid extremes indoors.

Well firstly i have to say many thanks for all the comments to my question, very informative. Secondly, MASSIVE LOL's to some of the comments that were posted especially the flux capacitor, that one got my eyes wet, & i nearly choked on my bacon sandwich when i read it. Must say though the list of strains in the replies all look spectacular when you see the pics. My m8 has recently got a new house & has decided to grow. but due to space & money restrictions he is limited to a 6ft high & 1m x 1.5m cupboard. he has 2 250w bulbs an air in & out with extractor and reflective sheeting all round. due to no internet im his researcher jus now, passing on info. for a 10 week grow seed to harvest he is looking to get around the 400 to 500gr marker to last him till the next 10 week grow as he is not looking to make money selling but to save money from buying it from others. and basically cut out the middle... no rip off man. I have no clue if this is possible given what he has to do it with. but from what i've read this is a very low setup with a very high expectation. i know soil fert and other extra's are needed for a proper prediction but he hasn't even got that far yet lol, ive still to check that out too but under optimum conditions with what he has, is it ?

Heh.... you are a good sport. I like that.

Your friend only has about 12 square feet or so to work with....that's a tight fit. 2 large plants would take the entire space with no trouble at all, if you didn't trim them or LSTor SOG. It's really your choice on which way to go.... 6 smaller strains/methods or 2 larger ones.

You can get 2lbs a plant in the middle of a cow pasture with 15 hrs of direct sunlight with a sativa strain and the greenest thumb ever. You just cant do it indoor. Bottom line! You can plant a hit of blotter acid and grow a sheet of acid tho.

Hahahahah obviously it's not with the plants that are in your current grow journal.... Why would you
stop what you have been doing for years to grow what you are currently growing? Sounds like
a waste of time to me.

That is some bs strait from a seedbank. 1000 grams a plant indoor is hard as hell to achieve outdoor and impossible indoor.
