just a friendly reminder to everyone...
use extreme caution when 'partnering up' with someone...
think about every level of growing...not just legality.
but time, attention, care, etc...

I thought I had the PERFECT grow partner....
plenty of space...climate controlled....secure.... what can go wrong? right?

well, lots!
I never anticipated being the only one tending to the plants....
apparently if you host the grow..some may feel that caps out their responsibility on all upkeep.

Then all of a sudden it's an inconvenience to have veg and flower in two different spaces...must try to cram them in the same 10x4 space, immediately!
Then I'm limited to only tending to them once or twice a week.
Then it's 'not a possibility' to keep the temp anywhere below 80F.
"We'll shoot for 85-90F and hope for the best'

I'm sitting on RIU trying to diagnose small plant problems and come to find out...
mother fucker let it get upwards of 90F in flower??!!? and doesnt even give a fuck?!?!?

fuck

Even better...
Don't use extreme caution "partnering" up.
Just don't do it. Having a partner is a bad thing in this hobby.

I had a great grow partner, we got into it from the very beginning so it was a journey for the both of us and we were always bouncing ideas of eachother...but he's long gone now and i don't expect to ever find anyone "compatible" for a grow partner again, my girlfriend is just fine :)

I hear ya about having to cram shit into tight spaces having both flower and veg. i have bother flower and veg in a 8x9 room, pretty small grow to most people but more than enough for me and my girl. Sometimes i have this randomly massive plant(ceiling @6ft4in) that i have to top the shit out of or contort in ways to it'll actually fit in the flower room and have room to stretch haha!

Have a good one and enjoy your 4/20 this weekend!
PEACE!

having a grow partner is like having a second girlfriend one of them is going to get mad or jealous so the best rule of thumb is only one wife and only one grower.. sorry to hear about the problems with the slacker on your end of things. as stated above hopefully you can get your shit to yourself and say fuck off to the weeny that's giving you the problems and after it's all over with show them the outcome and not let them have any of it. not even a toke..lmao

I agree with most people. No partners... I don't even like anyone taking care of my babies while I am gone... I def appreciate opinions and will take them, but I like to know that if I failed it was ultimately my bad! I don't like to have a reason to hold grudges against anyone for any reason.

Yeah, I had one person help me for a couple days while I was gone. She thought she was being helpful and transplanted one of my plants... tore 2/3s of the root mass off in the process and then when she found out I wasn't happy about it, she transplanted it back.. it was the crappiest transplant job I'd ever seen. It wasn't straight, the bottom node was under the soil, there was dirt all over her, leaves were torn. Poor thing never grew again after all that. It's best to just do things yourself, that way you only have you and your luck to blame when things go wrong.

Feel sorry for you man u just gotta get outa therre and do your own thing the first set up I ever had I was with a partner and ..... nothing but problems from plant care to cleanlyness to harvest it was the most unenjoyable experience ever I just split the crop 50\50 and I might have a smaller grow room now but I am so much happier and I have perfected my method on my own, when you have others input all the time with two different oppinions on growing recepie for disaster u gotta go solo unless its familly like a brother or something. Hope it works out man

I'm not splitting my herb with anyone ever! Plus I'm OCD and would freak out on someone for that kind of stuff. I may have to get an extra girlfriend or two for my next harvest though lol
