Yeah your stuff looks a little burnt. Careful with how hot you let it get or you may perma goo your batch. Go let it go above 150 if possible. But as you increase your -hg pressure it boils at a lower temp

That was my first attempt and I also think by following this guys tek where he says Evap the butane in a hot bath keeping the container covered.... ??? Wondering if that had anything to do with it? Any how also wonder if it was strain dependent as the gth wax looks nice :)

Playing with my closed pressurized column and even with my first attempt I notice a substantial difference than I did using the cheap honey bee extractor.... This stuff I just blasted looks a lot better, going to try and purge a few days with no heat and see how that goes, will spread the bho from the dish on the thin side on the parchment paper.... Though got to say I highly recommend trying one of these closed pressurized columns for open blasting....

Looks good bro but still looks like there's butane in it. All those small little bubbles throughout it. When its done it. should be see through, almost no bubbles at all in it. Could just be the pic though.. Vac with a low heat. Try to keep it right around 100°f. And the pressure at -27.5hg for the best affect. The lower the -hg pressure the lower the boiling point of your bho.

Hi brother
Yea definitely no more butane in that, it was purged for like for four days at 29hg with temps varying 100 to 130 degrees..... Doing a purge now going on 48hrs left it at 90 so more like 80 in chamber going to leave it for another day or two.... Looking much cleaner..... Really loving that closed pressurized column... Can't wait till I got some time to do a few more runs...
Really at odds over this enail business, the d-nail is so costly but not sure about them
Knock offs... May end up trying the dnail diy kit... Still looking
Any suggestions guys?

So I went and bit the bullet and got an official D-Nail DIY unit with a Highly Educated Infinity Nail and a carb cap! Am amped up to be dabbing soon the right way with the big boys, videos to soon follow :)

Think of your tube as a simple machine. This machines efficiency will depend on a number of factors all of which should be carefully controlled and duly recorded and even being as predetermined and exact as possible, the learning is a long "drunken walk". Such factors as pressure, volume and temperature of solvent and sample matrix as well as density, consistency, dryness of the sample matrix. Cooling the sample matrix to subzero temps will limit the unwanted materials and make the solvents job easier conversely the colder the solvent the less work it will do unless propelled by other means.

Oooooh I’ve been reading about the “short heated vac, then jar and purge with lid on, stir after 2 weeks and close again” tech for making sugar and I’ll be trying it out here soon.
