Biden Decriminalizes Cannabis

He is kinda on a roll. I don't think weeds really a big priority, but eh, it does need standardized national legislation. I'm kinda selfish there as I want those lax Oklahoma/Oregon rules around businesses. It would be pretty high visibility and get him a pop, so October is fine.

There's a rumor that Biden will de-schedule or lower the schedule of cannabis in October.
That would be great. If he does, hopefully he does it the right way. Out here in California, while a lot of people wanted legal weed, many true cannabis advocates were against prop 64, because it set up huge taxes/regulations and only served to prop up big canna and exclude small farmers. I'm still glad it's legal here, but the regulations imposed are pretty fucked and are ruining the industry in many ways.

Alcohol fits Schld 1 much better
Not advocating that, but it can be fatal and is highly addictive
My 30 something neighbor is a alcoholic that won't see 40, he was in the ICU a couple months ago from his drinking.
No argument there. I’m fine with taxing it, but I’d hate to do without a pint of a nice IPA.
I don't advocate for prohibition myself, however I do agree on the problems of alcohol. My grandfather killed my grandmother in a dui accident, and then proceeded to drink himself to death with depression over the next 10-years. I pretty much quit drinking this year, although I have had a couple beers on two special days, including my anniversary and a family member's birthday. The trick for me is to be able to enjoy the drink, without letting the drinks take over.

I stopped growing (for profit) 6 years ago :(. It was my retirement and I really was happy to put it behind me lol. There are wholesale price wars happening now and it’s not even harvest time (outdoor) :(. $250-300 a lb now at some dispensaries. Just bought an ounce of SSH for the girlfriend and it was $20 :o! $320 retail for a lbs :o! Not worth the work or trouble and I’m getting old lol.

Ditto. Alcohol occasionally with a meal. Beer & pizza are just too good to pass by.

I regret those years of hard drinking.

why are most of the states with legal cannabis the Democrat run states?...

If I may add, the states that sell medical weed legally should be added. Example is Florida. The legal stuff (medical) sold there is full of thc as well as cdb and will kick your butt, same as the legal stuff will do when smoking too much at one time.
The price is also way in line, actually it is cheaper than the weed I use to buy on the street. With that said, it is cheaper to buy than grow, and without the hassle of putting up with bugs and worms.
Spark up and stay safe.

Yep, Jungle Boyz set up full scale in Florida in the past year or so.
