EDIT: These girls have been harvested and the pictures of the harvest are about 12 posts down.

These lovely ladies have been flowering for 72 days now and I am just about to harvest them. This is my first serious grow and wanted to show it off and thank all of the kind and knowledgeable growers here that have given me advice.

Genetics: the shorter plants in the front are Big Bang and the taller ones in the back are White Widow. They were Greenhouse feminized seeds. The plant in the photo with the Pepsi can is the one in the very back row on the far right. The same plant is the one in the closeup photo. Sorry for the quality!

Equipment: 6'X6'x6' grow tent with one 1000 watt HPS and two 400 watt HPS for flowering. I vegged them with two 400 watt MH and one 400 watt HPS for 6 weeks. Also had two 8" fans, one for intake and one for exhaust and a carbon filter.

Feeding: each plant was watered with 1/3 gallon of water every other day with a ph of 6.5. I used Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and Fox Farm nutes every other watering. The plants were flushed for 2.5 weeks until harvest which is tomorrow.

More pics to come soon. Enjoy! :leaf::bigjoint:

I had 13 plants total. Six Big Bang and seven White Widow. I was going for 8 of each but had problems with three of them and I am glad because I ran out of room as it was! I will definitely post the dry weight for everyone as soon as they hang upside down for 5-7 days and I trim them to be jarred for curing. :leaf::bigjoint:

I just looked at your album and your plant looks very similar to how mine looked a couple of months ago. I think you will have very good results with that strain and any HID lighting setup. If the Big Bang is anything at all, it is a real yielder that's for sure. The smell gets very fruity in the last stages of flowering as well. I can't wait to try some. Good luck! :weed:

nice job man. i got the greenhouse fem mix pack E startin right now. +rep:leaf:

Thanks, bro! I have an Indica fem pack from them too. It's the one with White Rhino, Great White Shark, Lemon Skunk, Trainwreck and Cheese. Two seeds of each strain. I think that will be my next grow along with a couple of clones (Bubblegum) I will get from a friend of mine. Perhaps I'll make a journal for that one if I can find the time.

And I am going to harvest this current grow tonight. More pics to come later. :weed:

Well, I just got done harvesting the ladies and I am exhausted! It took three people damn near twelve hours to do it. Anyway, the pics I promised are below:

Pic 1: view from the front row (of three) with five White Widows in the front.

Pic 2: view from behind the second row (of three) with five Big Bangs in the foreground and the five WW plants in the background.

Pic 3: view from the back row with two WW and one BB with the other rows in the background.

Pic 4: the fattest Big Bang cola compared with a pint of Ben & Jerry's Half Baked. I figured that was a great type of ice cream to celebrate with!

Pic 5: the same pint of ice cream compared to my favorite White Widow cola. This is the same cola in the picture with the Pepsi can in the first post.

Pic 6: the same White Widow cola with a 12 inch ruler right next to it.

mad props.. very nice harvest!... What's does your electric bill look like per month?

Thanks! It fluctuates between 90-150 bucks a month. It depends on if I am vegging or flowering.

I do a 24/0 light schedule for the first 2-3 weeks of vegging and then switch to an 18/6 schedule until I am ready to flower. With these indicas I chose to flower at 12/12 for the first 8 weeks and then switched them to 10/14 for the final 2.5 weeks.

I also forgot to mention that I have all my trim set aside and will be making my first attempt at making hash tomorrow as well. So stoked for that! :leaf::bigjoint:
