Already typed a long thread about this and it got erased.
Basically, what should I feed my seedlings first? Grow Big or Big Bloom?
My FF Feeding Schedule says to feed it big bloom first and then grow big.
But a user in my last thread told me I should be using Grow Big when they are seedlings.

Cant someone clearify this jazz for me

That's the feeding schedule you speak of?
Yes bigbloom is the first thing you feed, check the weeks at the top and then line it up with where you are in the growth cycle.
The person that suggested the other way around probably has no idea on the nutrients your using and used hes apparent brains and thought bigbloom was a flowering nute.

^^ terry is also right, I would only give PH'ed water to a seedling depending on its height.
If it is running on a taproot it doesn't really need nutrients, if its got 2-3 sets of leaves by all means feed it.
SO based on your pictures either use a truncheon and give them doses of 250PPM bigbloom, if not just use PH'ed tapwater.

I have found that Olivia's is a great first food, the PPM is very low.
It can be sprayed on as well as watered with, I use it for clones.
I spray it on plants from the 4th week of veg up to the 3rd week of flower if the plant wants more food.

A PPM meter is needed, PH meter is not.

We all agree,
give water only,
don't add Nutes till the plant looks for food, that comes after the 2nd to 3rd set of leaves.

Don't trust charts, use 1/2 dose of everything and then adjust based on the plant.

I use Fox Farms hydro trio in a Hempy type grow.

2 teaspoons of Big Bloom has a very low PPM in a gallon of water and it lowers PH of tap water very little, it adds 50-75 PPM to the 110 out of the tap.

Grow Big, 2 teaspoons to a Gallon and the Mix will be in the 600-700 PPM range, it adds 500-600 PPMs plus tap water.

( subtract your tap water PPM to know what is in your water/ Nutes mix. )

So AFTER your plants grow bigger feeding water only.
Start Nutrients,
I mix big bloom and grow big together.
they are completely different, read the bottles, read some plant biology also.

One is an NPK food and the other is a "micro brew" in other words full of healthy microbes.

Get a PPM meter

check your tap water,

mine is 95-110 PPM from the tap.
My PH out of the tap is 7.2 so I can add 2 teaspoons of Big Bloom and 1 teaspoon of grow big to a gallon of Tap water, the PPM is 700 and the PH goes from 7.2 to 6.0-6.1.

So PH down or up is not needed for me, Your numbers may be different but the schedule is laid out by the plant.

In my mixes I do exactly as stated, start at half strength and go up to the PPM that the plant likes in Veg.

For my MasterKush it's 600-700 PPM and she is in heaven.

I am in my third year and I am a noob in comparison to many others on the board.

My advice is read the newbie FAQ's, most of your questions are answered.

Bless,

I only feed 1-2 times weekly than its tap water as needed to keep my medium moist enough to support a root structure.

I just got to week 5 of my first go using ffof plus trio nutes then had to add some calmag from botanicare and it made them so much a healthier vibrant green without calmag deficiencies but I am slightly burning some so my advice to you is to definitely start with big bloom if you read the nute info it is less potent on each of the 3 (less potent=healthier plants in this case its so much easier to burn soil is enough for the first week-3 weeks ) has a nice variety to give the seedlings and roots a boost. Start with literally just a tiny teaspoon of the big bloom even though it says 6 tbs! Per gallon. It says to feed 2ce a week but i think once a week for the first month is plenty ( look into using a spray bottle to add a quarter a tsp or less of calmag and spray on your babies 2 hrs before the lights turn on some neem can help too) Make sure to read the leaves instead of what ff says because I fed about a half strengtg in the 5th week and i burnt them so now just got to water and let them dry until they look hungry otherwise these leaves start looking neon
