big bud & purple urkel=grand daddy purp, what do i have?

I usually get some bomb ass grand daddy purp and last time I got a seed out of it. Grand daddy purp is a cross of big bud and purple urkel, purple urkel is a clone only strain. So I'm assuming that the grower bought some purple urkel clones from the club and pollinated them with a male big bud plant. So this is my question:

What seed did I get? I don't know much about breeding strains but if purple urkel is clone only then the seed should be big bud right? Or does this mean that the seed will carry characteristics of both plants?

The gdp I get is some dank, top notch shit all around....
